Also am hoping we get Bizarro in the future. I can see a brainiac tease in Supergirl. And with this movie being successful as itâs indicating
The hype for supergirl is gonna be immaculate
âhe turned Lex into a cartoonâ about a literal comic book character is an insane criticism
No it's not. They made him tonally all over the place. Sometimes he feels like a real character while most other times he's this big goofy cartoon villain. It doesn't translate well in the big screen.

Seems to be translating fine for most people

Only luthor issues I had were his little closeup rage face after the escape and maybe him crying at the end. I think both instances probably houle giving Gunn exactly what he asked for tho

i think you mightâve watched the wrong movie ngl
Guy
Guy and mr terrific highlights of the movie but then also lex and also supes
They could've left out Hawkgirl altogether but that screech was annoying though
That s*** was so corny
In the trailer the desert with mr terrific i rlly though it was gnna be like the flash type cgi thing man was i wrong
Anyone else thought Lex was gonna suit up on some f*** it ima handle it myself type s***? Not saying the movie needed that. But I thought maybe he coulda 2v1d Supes with his clone. And the way the movie was going. Lex final boss
Yea I thought so. I guess they donât want to blow their load in the first film idk

Heâs not a ârealâ character heâs a superhero villain. He played Lex perfectly the f*** you mean
That heroic shot of Clark right after he recovers from the ultraman ass whoopin >>>>>>>>>
Incredible movie, lived up the the hype, really donât understand the critics of the film, one of the main criticisms is they donât let emotional moments sit and rest, they always insert a badly timed joke at an inappropriate time - I literally was looking for this the whole movie and didnât really find anything out of place, the pace was fast yes but they made their points and moved on to the next.
People also critique the scene where Lex infiltrates the Fortress of Solitude and has his helpers do his bidding, when engineer is splitting the robots right beside Lexâs skull and he doesnât flinch, people say that looks fake or ridiculous, I actually took it as Lexâs arrogance on full display.
The only thing I didnât really like was his Kryptonian parents sending him to earth to make a harem and spread his Kryptonian seed. Seems way over the top just for being over the top basically.
The Hammer of Borivia was such a cool character I thought. Awesome suit, like an iron man juggernaut suit, loved how after the superman logo pops up at the start, it jumps right to the Hammer destroying s***

That was just Ultraman though
Yâall got the subtext of intentionally lifting from Invincible, Omni-Man and Homelander for this right? Theyâre the three current faces of âSuperman doesnât work cause he isnât like thisâ. The movie takes that and goes âwellâŚabout that lolâ
F***ing peak scene
Didnât catch all of it the first time watching, but man that second time hearing him say this word for word
