this is what I am seeing about it that could help you. If you are crippled check the status effect symbol and in aid look for the matching status effect symbol to treat what you have. If you are continuously just getting crippled for walking normal then something is wrong

Hey all,
I’ve enjoyed the game very very much and it’s been an amazing experience but I did want to talk about the faction quest lines.
This isn’t my first Bethesda game, I’ve played all of them since Morrowind. I wanted to know if anyone else feels like me.
The stories for the factions has been amazing. I’ve played CF/SysDef and the Vanguard so far. However I feel like the rewards have been a bit underwhelming from a role playing aspect.
Skyrim, Morrowind, Oblivion had you become Arch-Mage, Guildmasters, Gray Fox, and other leadership role titles.
Starfield rewards have been great in terms of credits but we don’t become leaders of the factions and I feel like that’s a bad thing. I wanted to know if anyone else felt this way about the factions.
I’ve heard the various dialogues that happen after these faction quest lines and I also feel like the game is missing a feeling of becoming a type of celebrity that the other games did.
What do you all think?

I thought the crimson fleet/sys def rewarded a ship and 250k each. I been playing them for that reason. Ryujin industries and gang one rewards werent enough definitely feels like the economy could use a boost especially because often I have to buy ammo to do missions properly and have fun.

Nah I liked the rewards personally

a lot of missions give 3000 to 10000 when the amount of ammo and things I use on them feels often times more cost than I get paid

I try to loot every corner so I have a lot of ammo.
This game a classic

I have a craving for .43 array and it’s a rare drop
someone please give me a success story that you eventually get used to how the map, quests, tracking, fast travel stuff work
i know (hope) it'll become second nature as you play and before you know it you seamlessly just track quests, travel to them, scan planets, land on them etc on mental autopilot but right now i hit such barriers every time i have go through em
It happened, I’m the success story
Once you get used to just tapping A on a place and holding X to jump there, it becomes so deeply addictive to explore planets, farm resources in huge empty deserts, stumble on people in space who need your help etc. having a hard time doing more than a quest every few days because of how fun this part of the game is
