Mando movie confirmed classic, Disney SW haters lost
I cant disagree with this either. AotC is kinda dumb as s*** but at least there's passion behind it. It's like Tommy Wiseau Star Wars
But I also think TFA is just incredibly well made, like aesthetic wise. The Falcon chase on Jakku
Also Han's death was very well done
AOTC has the best chase scene imo with the Blade Runner-esque vibes on Coruscant and I still cry everytime his mom dies and the grave scene foreshadowing his fall and motivations in Sith. I also find the Battle of Geonosis fun as hell. Just pure action in the last half hour on a scale that wouldn’t be seen again till Rogue One.

I haven’t watched it in probably 20 years but it was my favorite of the prequels when I was a kid, honestly. I just thought everything involving Jango and the clones was so f***ing cool.

I really like its 1950s aesthetic. The diner on Coruscant, Geonosis evoking Mars from space films of that era, the giant monster homage during the arena scenes, etc. The James Dean approach to Anakin. There’s a space noir feel to it that’s unlike any other saga film. Plus, it launched the whole Clone Wars multimedia project and era. If TPM was our taste of a non-Rebel/Empire era, AOTC solidified it. Still crazy that the Clone Wars era is the only on-screen major conflict that isn’t based around Imperials vs. Rebels.
And for the broader PT as a whole, I like the small details like how Anakin’s love for yellow vehicles that evoke his victory during the Naboo battle in Episode I, since he seeks out a yellow speeder during the chase in Episode II and his starfighter in the beginning of Episode III.
This was fun. A lot of it was kind of jingling keys but I enjoyed it.
return of the Jedi washes sith
Is this considered a hot take now? Return is my favorite SW

Yea I accepted what it was going to be before watching. Star Wars in a theater is usually enjoyable imo (except episode 9
)
