The Phantom Menace is cool, its biggest drawback is how little it matters going forward.
Attack of the Clones is good bordering on very good and makes excellent use of its three leads.
Revenge of the Sith sucks.
Trippin
Revenge is the best out of the prequels

It wastes every character that isn’t Anakin or Palpatine, Padme especially, who is turned into nothing more than a mere accessory. It tries its hardest to disconnect itself from the Original Trilogy in a way that, if done in a post-Lucas Disney movie, would cause riots in the streets. The third act is clunky and doesn’t inspire any of the adrenaline that it should, the second act is the worst single act in any Star Wars movie, AND the first act takes entirely too long to accomplish its goal, meaning much of what happens after has to be rushed through. It fails on virtually every front.
It only has the reputation it has because it’s the one where everything finally happens, but it’s handled so poorly I don’t know how how more people aren’t upset about it.
ya know, I should rewatch the prequels, feel like they've aged good
always thought Attack of the Clones was the worst Star Wars movie but that certainly can't be the case, next to Disney soullessness
My genuine opinion as a non Star Wars stan
Episode 1 - alright. Kinda just waiting around for the pod race and Darth Maul fight scenes to happen
Episode 2 - one of the most boring Star Wars movies to sit through and have to suffer through CW level romance storyline
Episode 3 - actually good. Arguably 3rd best movie of the franchise behind Episodes 4 & 5

you nailed it sir
also non Star Wars stan
The dragon pit scene CGI was so good. I can’t believe a Disney+ series show turned into a movie gave us this level of quality.
Sometimes it’s okay to not have crazy plot line for movies, and this one absolutely knocked it out of the park.
The mark review in moments
truth be told I haven’t seen any of the mandalorian before so I was lost story wise, but action was cool and I liked the little guys

disconnect is crazy cause if anything it tries way too hard to connect to the original trilogy.
why the f*** are yoda and Chewbacca friends?
Sarlaac Pit and Luke vs Vader scenes are great. Everything else in between just drags.
Endor

Vader and Luke in rotj is some of the best in the series

In a bubble yeah those scenes are top tier but a lot of that movie is kinda bad. Like Phantom Menace. High highs and very very low lows.
Having marathon'd all 9 movies about a year ago I'll say it's
1. Revenge of the Sith
2. A New Hope
3. Empire Strikes Back
4. Return of the Jedi
5. The Last Jedi
6. Phantom Menace
7. The Force Awakens
8. Attack of the Clones
9. Rise of Skywalker
The Force Awakens sucks a lot to me. It’s better as a movie than Rise of Skywalker, but it’s literally pure empty calories. No new ideas, two dimensional character interactions, afraid to explain anything because “uh oh! Geopolitics in Star Wars is scary and boring!”
Its entire purpose was to be a middle finger to the prequels and it shows. Crazy how a movie from 2005 had far more scope and ambition.

I cant disagree with this either. AotC is kinda dumb as s*** but at least there's passion behind it. It's like Tommy Wiseau Star Wars
But I also think TFA is just incredibly well made, like aesthetic wise. The Falcon chase on Jakku
Also Han's death was very well done
