Translation “ Poor peasants in Rondônia take the history of our people's resistance in their hands and use every means to demonstrate the bravery, military and ideological understanding of their mission in our country, which is to free the nation from the yoke of large landowners and Yankee imperialism.”
I’m trying to help my friend who is doing an assignment or the DPRK, does this make sense?
when you are looking at sources check and see if they’re from South Korea. South Korea is a direct enemy of the north and they often spread lies about the country because they are enemies. The Korean War puts a lot of things into context. And so does the Vietnam war!
The physical war ended in a stalemate but the political one still rages on. The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea are very isolationist and so A lot of things that have been stated about North Korea have been propagated by their very enemies which is still most of the western world.
South Korea and North Korea were united as one Korea before Japan and annexed them 1910 until the were forced in 1945 (after WW2) to split the land. One side was supported by capitalist countries like United States and the rest of the UN and the other side was supported by Socialist states USSR and China.
America really hates socialism because the entire point is to solve capitalism/to defeat it so that everyone is provided with their needs. Take what they did the the Black Panther Party, Malcolm X and Vietnam.
Vietnam had nothing to do with America after escaping form the oppressive colonialist hand of the French. But still because of the looming threat of communism they killed millions and spread Agent Orange around Vietnam.

id mention to her that north korean immigrants are paid by media outlets (and prob CIA NGOs) to create insane stories to draw more attention to their media platforms. Essentially in order for them to make a living in the capitalist hellhole of South Korea they need to fabricate grandiose lies and then get put on tv (or youtube or whatever) to spread them.

The Spanish Revolution, like the Russian, also had its labor camps (campos de trabajo), initiated at the end of 1936 by Juan Garc¡a Oliver, the CNT Minister of Justice in the central government of Largo Caballero. As we have noted, Garc¡a Oliver was a very influential fa¡sta and the most important figure in the Central Committee of Antifascist Militias, the de facto government of Catalonia in the first months of the Revolution. In no way could this promoter of Spanish labor camps be considered marginal to the Spanish Left in general and to Spanish anarchosyndicalism in particular. According to his supporters, Garc¡a Oliver had established the principle of equal justice under law that the Spanish bourgeoisie had previously ignored. The work camps were considered an integral part of the "constructive work of the Spanish Revolution," and many anarchosyndicalists took pride in the "progressive" character of the reforms by the CNT Minister of Justice. The CNT recruited guards for the "concentration camps," as they were also called, from within its own ranks. Certain militants feared that the CNT's resignation from the government after May 1937 might delay this "very important project" of labor camps.72

What’s the difference between MLM and Contemporary Maoists? I hear a lot about friction between the two
I need to understand Maoist political theory in general. His active theory makes a lot of sense even in passing
Why should I be a Socialist?
(I’m looking for an serious discussion/Answer)
You promote a democratic means of ownership within the economy, thus creating responsible practice that finds its way into no economic means
Every human is beholden to their community, considering the fact that we’re the most social being in biological history, why not build a system that aims to give to the individual rather than take?

capitalism is creating its own destruction due to its contradictions and at end of the day it’s either socialism or barbarism

i don't buy the "contradictions" narrative anymore when it comes to the self-destruction of capitalism because it can reform and change itself to delay self-destruction (climate change reforms by capitalist states, 1970s-present neoliberalism, etc.)
however we are in the later stages where even getting basic reform is failing, and the profit motive is over everything, and generally we can't really save ourselves from it
"Armageddon is profitable."

yeah I dont blame you on that capitalism has been like a lovecraftian monster that just able to absorb everything in its way but personally I just cant see a way for it adapt when eventually theres nothing to profit off anymore

Climate change reforms are piecemeal, ineffectual lip services towards “progressives” in the political framework of their individual states.
CO2 emissions have not slowed down at all. Even in theory, capitalism relies on unlimited growth which is impossible in every way
