ya i mean i was a liberal for most of my life
    most people are
but at the same time liberalization is what kills any social movement, literally look at what happened to BLM

bruh BLM got me torn between like the meaning and hope it gives some people, (even me to an extent in some facets), and it’s disorganization and lack of focus in terms of economics, i wish it were somehow more unified and had more leverage but it doesn’t prioritize class consciousness as much as i’d like it to,

    s*** coopted by capitalism too

i feel u on the dsa for sure but i mean if im always talking about "unity on the left" then I gotta still keep a place in my heart (albeit very limited) for them cause it could bring more people in to a grander view of socialism,

Also I see what you're saying, I'm trying to find out a lot of what is going on locally in my state right now,

been basically talking with anyone I can when situations or conversations present themselves,

I don't think you need to support the DSA

I think that the majority of DSA members are good people enthusiastic about making things better but are just misguided. We should steer them in the right direction when we have the opportunity.

Good to see you're trying to get involved, in my opinion every communist should be out in the streets organizing.

BLM is a good example of why you need revolutionary politics guiding you and revolutionary leadership.

As when you look at BLM it can be incredibly different on just a night to night basis. One night you have a protest asking for you to vote, walking alongside the police and calling for reform. Then another night you'll have calls for revolution, and rioting.

This is because BLM primarily relies on spontaneity.

i don’t support them, i think they’re silly and don’t make sense, but i do think they’ll lead to people moving further towards socialist ideas in some cases so i’m like

Also i’ve realized I have to be very good about the words I use and when, and make sure it’s understood i am criticizing the systems of capitalism/two party politics voting on how they want their capitalism to be dressed

i just don’t want to shut off the individual by making it seem like i’m attacking them as a human, rather than the ideas and the oppressive/exploitative structures

It is also weird when you’re at that threshold where most people could get with what you’re saying in some type of democratic socialist way of thinking (a mixture/i. between period) but they aren’t ready to follow into further left ideas necessarily, i think i will just have to accept that that’s how it goes

Keep in mind socialism isn't made for a lot of the white settlers
They benefit too much from imperialism

i feel like the left needs to develop a calculated assessment of what's really going on and find something to agree on about these things happening rn cause they're going to use this Cuba situation and twist it into 100% anti-socialist rhetoric, including the 'democratic' establishment in league with republicans upholding capitalism to their dying breath

coalitions, all that, need strength in numbers for the coming years for real

cause like look at some of these numbers

    jacobinmag.com/2021/07/health-care-reform-biden-administration-industry-lobbying

people, both dems and reps want increased quality of healthcare, they're just told different groups to blame:

A proposal to add dental, vision, and hearing coverage to Medicare, for example, scored 84 percent in favor (89 percent among Democrats; 79 percent among Republicans). Even less resoundingly popular items like lowering the eligibility age of Medicare to sixty still boasted high levels of support (61 percent overall, with 49 percent of Republican voters in favor).

84 percent in favor of adding all that s*** (obviously not great but an improvement) this is something to look at and take advantage of

Life is profitable, so is the abundance of life. The problem with many structures is that there's greediness and lack of aiding one another, this creates fear and scarcity. When one's spirit is out of order with The Most High then these problems occur. It doesn't matter if one is a Capitalist, Socialist etc. it shows that plagues dgaf about ones gov structure, political leanings etc. It's showcasing the flaws of humanity. Cuba, a socialist country is dealing with protests due to vaccine shortages. Yes they have a cure but what infrastructure is there to pump out the jab in mass qualities?

People are more into being prideful vs doing what's right.

I'm not for these vaccines in general and have a different perspective on what needs to be done. Nor do I care about western societies dominating for too much longer...

Using this plague in general has shown that Capitalism has gotten the job done in administering jabs and I should prolly move to Cuba in the near future.
