Yeahhhhhhhhhh they did it again
Bruh I was enjoying this season SO MUCH
Like excited for each week. Great episode basically until near the end.
great great ending man
that letter
Dexter having Harrison kill him is dumb for so many reasons… the main reason being is he actually got him to kill. It’s so contradictory to the letter. Now his son has his blood on his hands. He’s already a f\*\*\*ed up kid. He says he loves him but HOW lol. Like I get we’re supposed to believe Harrison wants to be nothing like Dexter now after knowing he killed an innocent man… so we’re supposed to assume he won’t go any further than that but idk. Harrison has shown he’s willing to irrationally hurt people already so this just seems like he opened up a can of worms more than anything. I still enjoyed most of this though. Just meh on the ending is all.
I doubt the new season finale gonna be worse than season 8 finale
I liked the season 8 finale, i thought there was some poetic justice to it.
I stand corrected. I liked the season 8 finale better.
at least there won't be a harrison spin off
Harrison will have a dark passenger aka Dexter will return
yea this was predictable I literally called it down to Dexter breaking the code and Harrison using the rifle that he got gifted to kill him
This doesn't fix anything either, because we know that Harrison's "dark passenger" will come back to haunt him so now instead of following a "code" he will become a ruthless murderer
Dexter could have picked Logan's gun and forced him to give up the keys but instead they had to make him kill an innocent man, that s\*\*\* was painful to watch
Exactly, the episode was rushed but good up until the last scene, like wtf Harrison wanted a normal life and not skipping town but still gone by the end and probably recognized in the future if Dexter is out as the bay harbor butcher, so at the end killing him didn’t make Harrison better. Dexter killing Logan doesn’t seem so out of place but it felt like a poor attempt to rush to the final scene. It definitely needed another season or at least more episodes
big agree. it all just felt so contrived. like you said, definitely could've used the extra eps like the older seasons having 12. don't really see how it's possible for harrison to have a "normal" life *after* killing his dad, like wtf?
the letter was really nice though. the death scene was just so incredibly forced and anticlimactic

Also them pointing out the obvious plot hole of it being Ketamine and not M99 was insane. Did they forget about the entire previous 8 seasons before making this s\*\*\*?
I stand corrected. I liked the season 8 finale better.
i don't think the s8 finale was completely terrible. think it's just a biproduct of s8 itself being terrible. i really like the themes of both endings, but wow, the execution on both was just not very good lol.

i was willing to let that s*** slide until this ep.
pretty sure in an interview last week, clyde phillips or scott reynolds said m99 and ketamine often get confused in autopsies, so they in left it like they did in the show. such a cop out answer. very much felt like an afterthought.
they were doing so well this season too man, f***. wasn't peak tv or anything, but i was really looking forward to sunday every week. missed michael c hall as dexter

Can someone spoiler my s*** these forum codes are ass.
sad they concluded his story, but I think it was done right imo.
His son wasnt built for that s*** n he turned on him when he realized Dexter's self preservation was gonna have him being a fugitive his whole life.
Even the end where the kid tells him off about how he keeps running n innocent people die indirectly (or directly). I thought that scene was really well played out cuz I could see someone saying all that in that situation.
In the end his son still a b**** tho for being a snitch..
N that woman played a really good cop, when she said she would bet her whole career and everything she has on him being the Bay Harbor Butcher I was like
They finally found em...
It was a good ending, but I feel like it shouldve kept going... I knew the series would end one of two ways: He kills his cop girlfriend because she starts digging too deep and him n Harrison continue on as a murder duo, or he dies.
Lowkey s*** was all good til Harrison showed up. Once he told everyone about him being Dexter it was pretty much over.
N I wonder what will happen to Harrison. Something tells me he's just gonna end up being a sloppier Dexter
