wasn't clyd original showrunner thought he would redeem the show
Yeah but this is pretty close to being just as stupid.
Damn back to back worst finales of all time for one show. Congratulations @ClydePhillips you did it.

what ?? how it ended? worse than season 8 finale??????
they really made it that obvious throughout the entire season and they still went with it. such an obvious ending that i think most ppl expected from ep 1. absolutely unreal man. what the f*** lol
This was horrible lol
like, as much as i want dexter to live, him dying makes sense. i get it. but man, the avenue they took was SO apparent and poorly done. everything just felt crazy rushed.
i will say, the ep was tense as f\*\*\*, up until the point where they're in the woods and you can see it coming from a mile away lol.
this is like when you come back with someone who cheated on you only to be cheated on again

Exactly, the episode was rushed but good up until the last scene, like wtf Harrison wanted a normal life and not skipping town but still gone by the end and probably recognized in the future if Dexter is out as the bay harbor butcher, so at the end killing him didn’t make Harrison better. Dexter killing Logan doesn’t seem so out of place but it felt like a poor attempt to rush to the final scene. It definitely needed another season or at least more episodes
So they f***ed up even the new season that was supposed to fix the first f***ed up finale?
Waiting for this to hit the e street
Now that it’s all over, has to go down as one of the simultaneously best and worst shows recently
Harrison bait n switch at the end was horrible btw and killed the last few episodes for me which were actually good
Seems like they did the best they could with a small budget, this needed to be at least 12-13 episodes but they cut corners. My only gripe is Phillips already told us a similar way of how he wanted to end the series and the pacing of these last 2 episodes. Idk. Idk how to feel.
I liked the ending even if everything about this szn was so obvious.
Did it air? Isn't the last episode out tomorrow?
I doubt the new season finale gonna be worse than season 8 finale
I liked the season 8 finale, i thought there was some poetic justice to it.
not once during this season did I feel tense or worried about what was going to happen next. the stakes felt low throughout the whole thing
