Exactly, the episode was rushed but good up until the last scene, like wtf Harrison wanted a normal life and not skipping town but still gone by the end and probably recognized in the future if Dexter is out as the bay harbor butcher, so at the end killing him didn’t make Harrison better. Dexter killing Logan doesn’t seem so out of place but it felt like a poor attempt to rush to the final scene. It definitely needed another season or at least more episodes
Yeah u right. I felt the same way, when characters act outside what you expect, thats how you know they had to rush it. Then again Dexter is a psychopath so its not unusual for his personality to change subtly like that ig
not once during this season did I feel tense or worried about what was going to happen next. the stakes felt low throughout the whole thing
This true too tbh. They had teased Batista as if he was coming on as a regular. Can't believe they had no interaction
Dexter really went back to back for worst finales of all time. Incredible. Never in the HISTORY OF TV has a show managed to one up itself on having the worst finale of all time. Congratulations Clyde Phillips.
Ending wasnt even that bad. I think some of you are just mad that it's over over. Nothing will ever be worse than driving a boat into a poorly CGI'd tsunami that he somehow survives...
One of my friends recently told me that they post poned the ending of the original cuz they couldnt think of it, n this show is how they ended it
Also them pointing out the obvious plot hole of it being Ketamine and not M99 was insane. Did they forget about the entire previous 8 seasons before making this s\*\*\*?
Yeah I was already saying Dexter could beat that case lowkey, they probably have no direct evidence.
But you also gotta remember Dexter doesnt have access to that s*** anymore so he had to use the next best thing
"i just wanna be normal" well i dont think this helped

Nah this ending was garbage.
i knew it was the end but i still wasn't ready. we just got dexter back and now it's over
like honestly who the f\*\*\* wants to watch a Harrison spinoff even if Dexter's his Dark Passenger...stupid stupid stupid
"i just wanna be normal" well i dont think this helped
Didn't even get a Batista/Dexter reunion...mans gonna come all the way to Iron Lake for nothing wtf...if that ending isn't a dream sequence then yeah this a botch IMO
would have been a better set up for another season if Dexter and Harrison just escape without the confrontation about Logan yet...they go on the run and next season immediately picks up where this left off with Angela and Batista on their tail...they'd still have to figure in ways for them to run into serial killers n stuff along the way but c'mon...they tease this billionaire oil guy in the first 2-3 episodes and Dexter finds that name at Kurt's place but then nothing comes of either of those things...the biggest appeal of Dexter is Michael C Hall's lead performance and they decide the best way to move forward is to kill him off/sideline him and make mopey Harrison the lead...even with Dexter as the Dark Passenger I just don't see it working...we'll see what the announcement Monday is all about but if it's that I'm not sure I'll have much interest
Yeah, I do agree that they could've stretched this out into another season, with Dexter and his son on the run from law enforcement, instead of just ending it here. So many good ideas and possibilities could've went into a new season.
On another note, "Mayor of Kingstown" is another dope show, if anybody wanted to get into that.

I don't have Paramount+ but I've been keeping up with 1883 through "other means" so I might check out that one too...not a big fan of Yellowstone though
what was the point of the edward olsen character in this show
unless he's set up as the main villain in whatever they do next (unlikely since Harrison's dippin outta there though) then he's nothing more than a red herring that they gave away too soon (I did initially think he was the one doing what Kurt ended up being guilty of)...there's also the question of the name Dexter finds at Kurt's which never got followed up on...just sloppy
michael c hall did his thang
facts...no complaints about his performance and the actresses who played Angela and Audrey were also really good...also fun seeing Batista but again just feel like they were wasted in the end as I don't see their stories progressing into whatever they're going to announce next

still asking myself the same question

yeah, they really blew that way too soon. dude just shows up, let's Angela use his helicopter or w/e, says some s\*\*\* to Audrey and that's it
as for the name Dexter found in Kurt's office, my understanding was that he was the guy working for Kurt that kidnapped Dexter. Could be wrong on that though.
