Dec 25, 2019BaneI think it means more to me, because of how well it portrayed the gambling addiction, which is something i have dealt with personally
Also, the way the characters talk at the same time, kinda feels like how the thoughts in your head go all over the place when you're addicted
The way those aspects are meshed so well together, as well as the score and the cinematography, it's just so well done imo
Then comes the ending, which i felt was perfect for that situation, and I can't really think of many things I would have changed to make this movie better
I guess I question it because I don’t wanna get caught up in the new movie hype but yeah I really think this movie flawless
I’m bought to go see it on the big screen in a little bit

Those two sites are like the nadir of film writing so I was shook lol

thank god it’s a luxury theater so it’s not as close to the screen + I can lean back 180 for more space between the screen

Just seen for my 5th time and finally on the big screen. My one nigga who big into movies was shock...literally his jaw was dropped at the ending, literally.
The other homie fell asleep lmaooo he was too drunk, we went to one them theaters that have a bar included.
Bruh I’m deadass bout to watch this s*** again for a 6th time at the crib. I might be odeeing rn wit the hype for this s***.

High key regret reading reviews on this s*** earlier on because it made me anticipate the ending, like I knew Howie was gonna die because a review I read said something like “ultimately you know his fate wouldn’t end well because of all his chaos”.....I just didn’t know he was gonna die like that. I deadass need to stop reading reviews before checking films

Did the same with Hollywood, even tho I didn’t spoil the ending for myself. But went into it knowing the layout and theme.
From now on ima just check out a trailer or 2 and leave it at that.

feel like i fumbled this whole movie roll out for myself by watching/reading every interview that came out prior and watching the screener rip. this one interview spoiled the ending within the first 30 seconds
