    AOTD:

    Vico C-Aquel Que Habia Muerto(1998)

-Hits: Aquel Que Habia Muerto, Calla, Quieren, Explosion(New Version), Tony Presidio & more
    -Features: Funky & 7th Poet
-Considered one of, if not the greatest rapper in the history of the genere and the island of PR. "El Filosofo" Vico C has been making rap music in Spanish since the 80's. Influenced every artist to come through the genre after him, which is basically everyone.
-He has a few great albums, but the first one I'll post perfectly captures what made Vico, Vico. The story telling, the conscious lyrics, the flows and bars. The intro/title track has an opening speech that will give you chills. Classic Spanish hip hop album with a few reggaeton songs sprinkled in.

    Al Pachino
    Este Party Esta Cabron
El Mundo Es Nuestro (Probably 2006ish)

Have to include a little back story for this one cause you can't even find anything on this dude if you google him. Yes, some guy picked "Al Pachino" as his artist name lol. He got a little buzz on the streets by saying that Arcangel copied his style/flow. He does have a bit of a point, but due to his name and lack of consistent talent; he didnt make it and only had 1 underground hit. This song. Saw him perform it live once at a club. The beat, the hook are just perfect lol Unless you were on the island or very into the genre at the time youve probably never heard this. If so, you're welcome

    Zion-The Perfect Melody(2007)

-Hits: Zun Da Da, The Way She Moves, Your Body, 4to Nivel, Fantasma & more
-Features: Akon, Eddie Dee, Rell, Tonny Tun Tun, De La Ghetto, Jowell & Randy, Cruz Martinez
-Album title is pretty self explanatory. This is Zion's first and only solo project. He was on fire at the time after releasing hit after hit and included english speaking hits on this as well.

Tony Dize-La Melodia De La Calle(2008)

-Hits: Descontrol, El Amor Bailando, Sufriendo, Permitame, Bien Sudao
-Features: Wisin & Yandel, Jayko, Franco "El Gorila"
-The debut album for another one of the best/most melodic voices in the genre. Under Wisin y Yandel's label so it featured that roster. Great songs on here if you prefer the melodic/R&B style reggaeton

    Who is ur favorite tho?

I prefer the old school to the new school so my favorites are Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel, Tego Calderon, Hector & Tito, Daddy Yankee etc.. From the new school I only really like Bad Bunny although I enjoy a few Ozuna songs, including the last one he dropped which i posted last page I think. Anuel is also very popular so maybe you like him.

    Yaga & Mackie-Sonando Diferente(2002)

-Hits: Si Tu Me Calientas, Maulla, Yo Quisiera, Mi Nina & more
-Features: Daddy Yankee, Tego Calderon, Don Chezina, Speedy, Johnny Prez, Maicol y Manuel, Baby Rasta & Gringo, Cheka, Karel y Voltio
-Another underrated duo. This was their debut album and probably their most popular album. First few songs were big hits and the Yankee feature is one of his best ever. Bad Bunny references this album on his collab with Anuel, "Esta Cabron Ser Yo"

-Hits: Hoy Vamos A Ver, Amor Prohibido, Agarrala, No Le Temes A El & more
-Features: Polaco, Hector "El Father", Don Omar, Tito, Jomar, Joan, Alexis & Fido
-Continuing the underrated duo's theme. Honestly have no idea what happened to these guys but when they dropped this they had buzz. Hector took them under his wing and they have some big hits on here with excellent features.

    Don Omar-iDON(2009)

-Hits: Virtual Diva, Sexy Robotica, Blue Zone(Comenzo El Bayu), Ciao Bella
    -Features: None
-This week we'll get back to heavyweight albums. This is Don Omar's third studio album and it was his most polarizing. At the time when this came out it received mixed reactions because of its production. It focuses more on electronic and hip hop centered sounds and only has one true "reggaeton" song. This album is like reggaeton's "808s" or "Yeezus". At the time it wasn't the most beloved album but with time it gets praised more.
-That said, it had 2 massive WW hits in Diva Virtual and Sexy Robotica. Blue Zone was also a hit on the island.
