    ARCADE GOON

Amerikaks are only able to criticize their foreign policy when a few year pass, then they act like they were all against war XYZ in the first place and the cycle begins anew

Yeah like from how Americans talked about it later on I thought thr Iraq war was highly unpopular lol, only later did i find out Bush approval ratings literally skyrocketed

Bunch of bloodthirsty and genocidal freaks on god

ok say what u want abt that

i agree the US government isnt super representative of what ppl want

but like objectively yeah we live in a democratic republic. its not pure direct democracy but its still a form of democracy.

democracy has a billion flaws and i encourage pointing them out but saying the US isnt a democracy is just reaching

    pewresearch.org/global/2021/12/07/global-public-opinion-in-an-era-of-democratic-anxiety

Don’t you think that if the US effectively worked as a democracy we’d have already solved most problems that have extremely popular public support like universal health care?

Yes, of course political agendas of the White House (that by the way consist of officials that we DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED) have a role in CDC recommendations. Have you ever read about the process it takes for the CDC to make a recommendation? The process is well detailed and public as are the minutes for meetings behind any decisions.

Americans don’t vote for their president fam. The electoral college does and they have no legal responsibility to follow the voting outcomes of their states’ districts

  • Feb 26, 2022

We also dont have a choice of candidates other than what is put forth to us by the RNC and DNC which are privately owned, funded, and operated. They are supported by the corporate media that owns basically all of the information consumption of this country.

The US is a democracy? We can’t even elect our president or choose representatives that aren’t provided by the DNC or RNC fam

Democracy at this point means falls under Western hegemony, let's be honest no one gives a f*** about democracy.
Its there to justify imperialism and nothing more, no matter how much people mean it when they talk about it, I don't believe they are arguing in good faith anymore when they mention democracy.

The electors of the electoral college are also voted in democratically. Even though they have no legal responsibility to voters, faithless electors have NEVER made any impact on the outcome of the election.

I would say in some African countries (NOT NORTHERN AFRICA!) they're not racist, but yeah there you have tribalism which is a form of discrimination too..

    fun guy

stop downplaying the presence of the far right, it doesn't help anyone but them. the existence of the far right doesn't necessarily mean that no aid should be sent to Ukraine, or that Ukraine is a "Nazi state", but don't be disingenuous - there IS an undeniable far right problem in Ukraine and most other Eastern European countries for that matter. The reason this tired topic keeps being repeated itt is because many people can't even admit this! Just because the far-right doesn't literally control the Ukrainian parliament doesn't mean that they're widely unpopular - would you make the same claim about the United States?

The Nation: Post-Maidan Ukraine is the world’s only nation to have a neo-Nazi formation in its armed forces. The Azov Battalion was initially formed out of the neo-Nazi gang Patriot of Ukraine.

Nazi-Collaborator Stepan Bandera whos guilty of the ethnic cleansing of Polish people is one of the largest, most celebrated national icons in Western Ukraine who has dozens of statues, streets, and even a national holiday in his name, an issue that the EU took up in 2010:

On Feb. 25, 2010, the European Parliament passed a resolution on Ukraine. Clause 20 reads that it “Deeply deplores the decision by the outgoing President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, posthumously to award Stepan Bandera, a leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) which collaborated with Nazi Germany, the title of ‘National Hero of Ukraine’; hopes, in this regard, that the new Ukrainian leadership will reconsider such decisions and will maintain its commitment to European values.”

in 2017 there were more anti-Semitic attacks in Ukraine than all former Soviet countries combined.

In 2018 the Human Rights Watch condemned Ukraine for not adequately investigating the growing number of hate crimes:

Since the beginning of 2018, members of radical groups such as C14, Right Sector, Traditsii i Poryadok (Traditions and Order), Karpatska Sich and others have carried out at least two dozen violent attacks, threats, or instances of intimidation in Kyiv, Vinnitsa, Uzhgorod, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, and other Ukrainian cities. Law enforcement authorities have rarely opened investigations. In the cases in which they did, there is no indication that authorities took effective investigative measures to identify the attackers, even in cases in which the assailants publicly claimed responsibility on social media.

Believe me, I'm tired of discussing this same old s*** but there's too much misinformation that needs to be cleared up

nah his statement made it sound like he was for the soviet invasion, thats why I was confused.

I didn't quote him first, he's the one that responded passive aggresively bringing up the soviet invasion when I was talking bout Ukraine.

    but believe what yall want.

I gotta say i don't have any respect for americans who acknowledge the mistakes the US made in Afghanistan for example, circlejerking abt being supposedly critical and not falling for govt propaganda, it's all useless posturing

Every single time it happens in the present moment, mfs fall for it

Literally every time, almost feels like they're trolling but nah they're legitimately that dumb

What do u think is the apparent propaganda atm?
