The US will not start WWIII over Ukraine. The lack of urgency even supplying them with weapons shows we really don't give af. It's more important we "bleed out" Russia. I feel bad for Ukraine honestly.

This especially with the new administration.
Most likely trump will do everything to let Russia keep quite a bit of land with a promise of "security" for Ukraine.

It all depends on what Ukraine willing to agree to now that we won't be sending them anything else. American support for Ukraine is likely done.

ukraine will agree to whatever is possible if the weapons stop flowing. they will lose land rapidly once the weapon shipments are done.

Sad that we're just gonna watch a new axis destroy a country and steal it's land.

Wouldn't be that shocked if Trump let them take it all.

There is exactly a 0% chance Trump would let Russia have all of Ukraine lol

romania doesn't even have legislation for when a bomb lands on our territory, if this country gets involved in a war, it will implode

Russia is clearly getting desperate, we need to stop throwing gasoline on the fire

he just made sure 3 thousand non-russian troops are fighting his country's war, doesn't look desperate to me at all knowing that mandatory conscription is one of the biggest criticisms hes getting at home

im pretty sure most of the current army force is volunteers and contractors, they dont conscript people who had served their mandatory one year or people currently serving it. some bases 'fool' people into this but i dont know much about it. my brother's friend was in the army early in 2022 and we were extremely worried they might send him up but he finished up the year elsewhere, left the army and had no problems since. my other friends who served forever ago are all chilling although of course theyre alert

i think whoever has their 'service situation' in the s***s (either compulsory service dodgers or draft dodgers or non-registers) should probably be worried the most but then again i was taught to get that s*** in order way before this thing had even begun. what theyre doing in ukraine is a f***ing nightmare and a travesty though and its p much what all my friends were afraid is gonna happen in russia, except it never did. they shouldnt get a whiff of that EU membership for what the conscription officers are doing to these people in random ukrainian towns; s*** is straight up systematic human rights violation

Liberals love to look at war in a LOTR Star Wars lens and dismiss all context leading up to the present day like the US f***ing with Russia through Ukraine for the past decade
