At this point, the real opposition is likely to come from European Union member states who will have to take on heavy burdens to support any type of Ukrainian integration. It'd weigh down the entire network

We're in a lame duck period for an outgoing U.S President (where focus should purely be on ensuring incoming administration inherits stable situation) and somehow escalating to the point where Russia essentially just live simulated a nuclear strike on Ukraine with missiles we only just learned the existence of.
I guess we're already on to brainstorming the next magical weapon that will save Ukraine?
This is a completely unprecedented scenario. And people think an incoming President would want a part of this?
