of course its subjective, not everyone is going to agree on which songs are filler. but anyone who enjoys listening to albums back to front get a poor experience skipping 30% of the damn thing. donda and carti’s music have this same problem too.

drake is in my top 20 listened artists and i also feel this way. its a great coping method to tune out every opinion you dont agree with but that doesnt mean a lot of people dont feel that way.

probably cause it involves confronting the fact hes been making tracklists geared towards getting as many streams as possible instead of making the highest quality album for like 6 or 7 years now. guaranteed if he dropped something concise they would be all on his d*** for doing so lol

This is another silly sentiment — the idea that his aim with his albums is to "get the most streams possible."

Room for Improvement has 20+ songs.
Comeback Season has 20+ songs.
Take Care (Deluxe) has 20 songs.
If You're Reading This It's Too Late has 17 songs.

All projects that dropped before streaming was a thing. He has ALWAYS made long projects. It's not some new thing he only started doing in the streaming era and just as well, he has always made shorter, more concise projects as well (Thank Me Later, Nothing Was the Same, WATTBA). And even in the streaming era, you've gotten 14-16 track projects like Dark Lane Demo Tapes, Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss.
