I just can't get behind this lol. It feels like a pokemon game for people who don't actually like the games
I love the concept and had a lot of fun but idk I was disappointed when I finally got to playing it. Like I finished the games story and just kept thinking "this is it? This is everything everyone wanted out of pokemon all along?" I specifically hated the action based boss fights with a passion...and I personally hated BOTW so I think that's part of it too
Idk I think when I go back to actually finish the Pokedex I might like it more. That's what made SV click for me long after I finished the story+dlc
I do hope to God they make a true sequel with the potential of the switch 2 hardware
Yeah I didn’t really care for Legends Arceus. I thought it was a lot better than za though.
I would use your masterball on the roaming legendary dogs in frlg. One of them is available in your postgame.
In newer gens I usually try to find them 3 times order to catch them:
1st encounter: False swipe to 1HP
2nd encounter: Spore to put it to sleep
3rd encounter: Quick Ball
Oh yeah I'm aware of the method, for dex filling in gen 9 I ran an iron valiant with thunder wave I think cause of the high speed stat. Idk what's the best to use in frlg though since there's no breloom either
Any clue on which roaming legendary is best for master ball? I assume they're all same in that regard but I never even tried getting them when I originally played the game

I'm flipped lol. I liked za far more than arceus but both just aren't really what I want from pokemon typically. I like the loop and simplicity/speed of battling plus I don't mind just having the city as the map
I'd probably like za a lot more if the online/competitive aspect wasn't so bare boned though

There is only 1 roaming legendary per playthrough depending on your starter choice at the beginning of the game
Day 1 if true
This idea was scrapped and became legends arceus, that’s why there’s like big alpha pokemon in that game
Fast ball ho oh is so f***ing baller
I'm scared to start hunting any of the legendaries because I'm going to be extremely picky with what balls I use since I plan on using them for champions... Catch rates in frlg are already so ass to begin with
Anyone have opinions on what's best to use the masterball with? Id just save it and make a pokemon hold it to transfer to home but I'm 99% sure you can't even do that
I’ve only ever used the Master Ball for Mewtwo and Suicune
Such a clean color combination
Bring gate keeping back
Guys like the Logan brothers are such LOSERS
Honestly I fw Gengar really heavy but I feel like they are so ungodly overrated
Glass cannons, a b**** to evolve into, and just way too much promotion
Idk, still a top 5 for me though

Hypnosis + Dream eater in 2026
Bros a vulture
Haven't put too much time into Pokopia, but it's some gas
Really like the progression of it. I like the idea of cozy games but I always try to optimize anything I'm doing so I never really take it easy and this game is making me not do that lol.
Went up to 90, best reviewed game of the year now
i need a switch 2
just waiting for that FromSoftware game to come out. and Enter the Gungeon 2
Pokopia ost sounds so good man. Really glad we got such a strong spinoff again, can’t wait to play
Meganium and Feraligatr’s abilities come straight from Elite Redux lol
Chloroplast being canon is nuts
I read somewhere you have to have a pokemon mainline game or something to play it can anyone confirm this?
I'm struggling to find any specific without being able to watch the video lol

either you import them through home or play this new mechanic where you are able to recruit one random pokemon per day...and the recruited ones are only able to be used for a limited amount of time unless you buy them with VP (purchase or win from battles)
you can edit your imported mons' moves/stats/nature...but again with the use of VP
so basically need to bring in your competitive mons from home or spend some moola or a lot of time to get a team up and running sooner
Atp im trolling myself
Used ice shard on ninetails against cloyster with 1hp left while psychic terrain was up
Proceeded to get swept
Last match i was against ceruledge with my indedee, bro i used calm mind instead of trick room, dude didnt even kill me but because i didnt trick room he took me out next turn
Im too impulsive for strategy games
