As someone who finds Minecraft and Animal Crossing boring, will I even like Pokopia? I don’t like cozy games where the game is just doing stuff with no objective or end point
But the hype for this got me considering (won’t buy until it’s on sale tho cus I ain’t paying full price for a KC)
Well after this success KC will be the standard. I don’t like it but this kinda confirms it

there’s so much loading in this game it would’ve been a nightmare on cartridge, but for most games it seems like it really is just the companies cutting costs. At least Nintendo promised the big first parties will be on cartridge, those will be the only physicals I buy I guess
think i changed my mind and im gonna get pokopia and fire red instead
I did the same
Great combo
FireRed for the OG badge/E4 challenge
Pokopia for the chill vibes
beat the game, ending was a little underwhelming but hopefully there’s some cool postgame quests, I notice in the Pokédex I’m missing like 10 legendaries
I MIGHT need to get this game eventually cus this is exactly how I feel
The Pokémon are so silly and interesting and have personality
Playing Pokemon Platinum for the first time, currently in the distortion world and need to solve the puzzle. Probably gonna be battling Giratina soon
Am I tripping or is there no way to get back here without a team of HM slaves?
I needed Strength, Surf and Rock Climb to get here. My team weak and I don't have many Pokeballs but I don't want to do this whole trek again unless I have to
Finally playing Legends of Arceus (never owned a switch) and man
Game is very fun its actually great
Having so much fun exploring and completing every dex entry to level 10
Im like 7 star galaxy rank and have no level obey limit and just barely started the third island

I love the idea and concept but man I was so f***ing disappointed when I finally played it
I would have liked it more if they kept the normal battle system but even then I was so surprised at it's emptyness....
I still need to find time to go back and complete it for Arceus before champions is out. I still don't have one

I get what u mean man. Maybe its because i played it with "pokemon game" expectations but i so far hasnt encountered the world empty. Maybe its because it feels nice catching pokemon here, the pokemon feel like the reward for exploring
I was even surprised to how many pokemon are in each zone, like u can pass thru a zone several times and encounter a new more rare pokemon at the 6th time

Would recommend bibarel, it can learn all of those three plus rock smash, waterfall, cut
In Pokémon crystal you really have to catch Raikou and Entei in order to be allowed to catch Ho-Oh
Good thing you can clone Pokémon in gen 2 to get another masterball cause I was not going to go through this mess again
I caught ho-oh in a fast ball

LOL rare. I forgot about the OG cloning in Gen 2
Legends Arceus of of the best in the series without a doubt
I just can't get behind this lol. It feels like a pokemon game for people who don't actually like the games
I love the concept and had a lot of fun but idk I was disappointed when I finally got to playing it. Like I finished the games story and just kept thinking "this is it? This is everything everyone wanted out of pokemon all along?" I specifically hated the action based boss fights with a passion...and I personally hated BOTW so I think that's part of it too
Idk I think when I go back to actually finish the Pokedex I might like it more. That's what made SV click for me long after I finished the story+dlc
I do hope to God they make a true sequel with the potential of the switch 2 hardware

https://twitter.com/phisnom/status/2032148387932361053They really f***ing killed it with the animal crossing dialogue type stuff. I'm blown away at how much better the conversations are in this game vs animal crossing
Bulbasaurs humid line is gonna live rent free in my head for the rest of my life

Fast ball ho oh is so f***ing baller
I'm scared to start hunting any of the legendaries because I'm going to be extremely picky with what balls I use since I plan on using them for champions... Catch rates in frlg are already so ass to begin with
Anyone have opinions on what's best to use the masterball with? Id just save it and make a pokemon hold it to transfer to home but I'm 99% sure you can't even do that

I would use your masterball on the roaming legendary dogs in frlg. One of them is available in your postgame.
In newer gens I usually try to find them 3 times order to catch them:
1st encounter: False swipe to 1HP
2nd encounter: Spore to put it to sleep
3rd encounter: Quick Ball
