Doesn't this seem weirdly worded when it's been pretty much confirmed it's just not going to have all 1000+ on release but they're going to be adding more and more down the road?

  • wtf brah at the pokemon store of all places

This isn’t crazy to me, its day 1 on the platform they see being the main hub for the competitive scene moving forward

They’ll come later with legends and the other mechanics. Lowkey I like the limited roster on release. Don’t wanna hop on and see the same s*** from recent metas

  • For the “Legends aren’t mainline” people

  • The Japanese mind control actually worked.

  • Holy s***

  • This is wild af

Dude did you hear that a Stanford study found that people who played Pokémon heavily as kids developed a small region of the brain that responds specifically to Pokémon characters.

Researchers scanned adults who grew up playing on Game Boy and showed them images of Pokémon like Pikachu and Bulbasaur.

Their brains lit up in the same exact spot, a consistent area in the visual cortex tied to recognizing specific categories of objects.

The reason comes down to childhood. When you’re young, your brain is more flexible, and spending hours memorizing hundreds of similar-looking Pokémon essentially trained it to carve out space just for them.

This lines up a ton with stuff I learned in my age-relates psychology course in my undergrad to the point where I believe it

If you can share a link, or better yet the DOi id love to read it

It's not really that crazy or even groundbreaking knowing how the brain works behaviorally or neurologically but it's so funny someone did a real ass study lol

  • The human brain can only remember a limited amount of people with their trades. But somehow 1025 pokemon occupy these slots

  • Who tryna play scarlet

This is a longshot but I hope someone on here has experience with emulating on Android and can help me out

I had Black 2 and HeartGold on an old Huawei. Got pretty far in both games and want to continue the playthroughs on my current Android. Transfered the ROMs and save files (they're .dss files) from the Huawei to my current Vivo via Bluetooth and moved them to what I think are the correct folders. Both Black 2 and HeartGold open but Drastic doesn't let me load the save files

Not sure if this affects anything but I used another emulator app because Drastic wasn't free back when I played it on my Huawei. Think Drastic isn't available on the Playstore anymore too so I'm hesitant to uninstall the app
