Im big into vgc competitive too & since the starters seem to be Cynda, Osha & Rowlitt then there is an over arching national dex that maybe works with Home.

Wonder if there will be online comp battling still in Legends. Or, you ca. transfer the remaining pokemon out of sw/sh that will probably be in Legends (such as Gliscor, Ampharos, Breloom, Golem etc.) into Sw/sh thru Home to continue online comp there, sw/sh gets an update that allows those remaining Pokemon to battle online officially

My only issue with the DP remakes is that Dawn and Lucas don't have a remix of their platinum outfit. I was hoping they would mix the original DP and platinum outfit. Hopefully the post game incorporate that Giratina is making it snow more.

Battling doesn't work like the main games though. It's more like how FF7remake is. The Pokemon has some kind of ATB system going on.

I'm guessing it'll have that connection with home, but idk. GF does weird stuff.

But youre right, i dont think it will be cross play like oras with xy etc., it'll either be its own thing like Let's Go, or none at all & just allow you to transfer the last remaining Pokemons to Sw/Sh for its reg online comp.

For me colors didn’t really pop in sw/sh and the textures were weird. LGPE and These dp remakes look better IMO.
