Legends is almost a gen 9 level game but with it being so different, the "purist" would have been pissed af & looked at it like this is what my gen 4 remake became.

Really sucks, but at least the people that are fine with how it is didnt get left behind.

Of course there is still gonna be a subsect pissed at both options, but i think GF needs to accept they wont please everyone ever.

The pokemon brand is massive so its bound to have different demographics, they cant please everyone, maybe that's why they're releasing 3 games in the span of ~2 years, so people have a choice at what pokemon experience they want

Content is king for both of these games. DP remakes need something to put it over the top in comparison to platinum. Legends needs to fill out the world with stuff to do
