Getting excited for the season
Kelee Ringo CB2
Been seeing a lot more of this and this is very encouraging
To play off this, it's unfortunate that DeJean has the hamstring injury but it's given Quinyon Mitchell reps in the slot with the first team as well, and he seems to be acclimating well based off Fangio's comments
We know we have depth issues at safety and for all the talk about DeJean pre-draft about moving to safety (to be clear, I ABSOLUTELY believe that he can play corner in this league) when he comes back he might actually be the answer to the safety depth that we've been looking for

They been putting out some great content
Parris gonna be nice @ WR3
Hope we bring someone else in personally

Ainias not looking so hot in camp
WR depth behind AJ and Smitty is suspect at best, i need Johnny Wilson to step up

Yeah doesn't sound like Ainias is ready at all unfortunately, as a receiver or a returner so that's a bummer
Johnny sounds like he has flashes but it's not all there, kinda what I was expecting of him tbh
Definitely need outside help at receiver, I'd much rather have the guys we have currently behind the top 2 as our 4, 5, and 6 with a valid No. 3 slotted in there
Hope we bring someone else in personally
I wouldn’t hate it, but realistically I don’t see it happening, especially in the offseason. Ross, Wilson, and Campbell all been getting first team reps in camp. The only move I see being made prior to the season is for a safety.

I learned to never count Howie out in that regard, but I agree with you that the safety depth is nonexistent. However, if Q can hold down the nickel job before DeJean gets back, maybe he gets some looks at safety? Then you have a whole bunch of versatility with Q who could play inside and out, Maddox who can play slot and safety, and DeJean who could do all 3
Mekhi Becton getting a look at RG - especially when they put the pads on tomorrow - is not a good thing for Tyler Steen I'll just say it
I'm not down on Steen and understand how both switching sides and moving from tackle to guard could be a challenge, but Becton at guard is a potential cheat code especially for a guy like Stoutland lol

I need him to start at RG
Steen can be swing tackle
Quinyon is only in the slot cuz Coop is out right….
Theyre making it seem like hes gonna start and nickle

Pretty sure he’s been rotating inside and out. But I also know that Vic wants versatility out of his guys. If we have Kelee, Q, and Isaiah all balling out regardless of what position they’re put in, then I’m all for it. Especially when Coop gets healthy.

Opened up opportunity there and it's less stiff competition than the other outside CB spot. It sounds like neither Ringo nor Rodgers is running away with that competition, because BOTH are looking really good. Shoehorning Q into that spot for politics might cause some issues, but if he shows he can man the slot and starts over Maddox no one is complaining
Sounds like we might want to temper expectations on Becton. I think we all got a little excited about the idea, but he's also never played guard before. Sounds like he was getting moved around a bit today with the pads on, don't count Steen out just yet
How the f*** is Mikey Miss back on 97.5
Trot Jr. is mixing in a little bit too and sounds like Shipley is impressing with his speed and pass catching so that's encouraging before the games start
Another reason why I disliked the Kenny Pickett trade is because I legitimately thought that Tanner McKee had a chance of being our QB2
Now it sounds like Tanner McKee is BETTER than Kenny Pickett who we swapped a 3rd for a 4th for lmao smh

They need to let the rookies play this year
No more red shirt years
Sounds like Johnny might be everything I thought Ainias would be
And it also sounds like Ainias will not be making this team lol
