one thing i don't get it

the scene when they discovered the basement and the old maid got them on footage confessing to be family, why the folded so easily. All they had to do was reverse threaten that old man with revealing his location to the loan sharks that were headhunting him...

how would the Kim family even know which loan shark is looking for the dude in the basement? these people don’t even know each other let alone the people they owe money too :what:

(also they both in a lil basement.. that text message is def gonna reach the park family quicker than the Kim family can find the loan sharks even if they knew who they were :what: )

Its to show the power of the phone and footage nowadays. They even metaphorically use the phone as a gun. and pretend to lead a revolution, by the power of a text. Acknowledging the power WiFi and technology has over people now. Its really beautiful.

    lmfao

it's not even just about reaching them first, it's about defensive scare tactics which i think is just natural human instinct especially in a situation like that. they just folded without a fight smh.

also why did that alzheimers suffering old man target ki jung at the party... it's so twisted how he ran past like 20 people to stab her for no reason... :tears:

All these characters come under incredible, horrific violence at the end—the daughter and the son and everyone in the family. On the screen, it almost feels like it would be the son who would die and not the daughter. But of course, at the end, it's the daughter that dies. I think that's why it feels so tragic. I really wanted to bring out that sort of irony. The daughter is the smartest person in that family, and she's also the person who created the opportunity to avoid the tragedy at the end. She was suggesting that they went too overboard yesterday and they should go down and talk to the couple in the basement. So she was trying to bring about this negotiation among the have nots in the film. And of course, the mother character supported her decision. They barely miss their chance to go down to the basement. The person who tried to create the opportunity to avoid the tragedy: she's the one who died. That's the sad irony of the climax.

damn tbh I thought he targeted her because she was the one who rubbed all those peaches on his wife’s face and s\*\*\* lol

top paragraph is all facts. she was the most talented member in the family by far. her photoshop skills are what got them in the door to begin with.

    i just asked bro

if you ever see a movie poster at a theater it never hurts to ask the theater what they're gonna do with it when they're done screening the movie and to ask to have it

worst thing they can do is tell you no
