apparently my friend has been telling ppl that I told him I didn’t think this movie was about class divide

was at his house and he was watching it w his neighbor and when he went the bathroom she hit me w the “this is obviously about class divide..”
And then after I was like “yeah obviously..” she told me what my friend told her

got so mad lol wtf would you tell ppl some like that?

Doesn’t even make him look better just makes me look dumb as bricks tho f***

man what that whole situation is weird lmao

The hype of this was warranted, FOTY and I don't see any other film being better than this.

Pacing was so perfect, I almost cried at the ending because I didn't want this to end.

This is going to end being a perfect movie on my next or third rewatch.

So many themes that you take in through this film.

  • Nov 17, 2019

Best movie that I've seen in theaters since Blade Runner 2049.

Its to show the power of the phone and footage nowadays. They even metaphorically use the phone as a gun. and pretend to lead a revolution, by the power of a text. Acknowledging the power WiFi and technology has over people now. Its really beautiful.

The Irishman tops this for me. Great movie but don’t think I wanna see this anytime soon now that I know the twist.

No. There's tons. But a film not being in English shouldn't really be a factor in whether or not you consider seeing it.

    amazing movie

loved the attention to detail, and the subtle and not so subtle imagery as well

for example, all the paintings da song does are of ga eun (Imo), it mirrors the face he saw at the murder scene and when he saw something come up from the basement. I also loved the concept of the rich sensing a discernible smell in the Kims. Why I think it was made to be mostly an issue from mr Kim is because he was the one that had struggled throughout poverty and multiple odd jobs for his life, or at least from what we knew. It's only fitting he was also the one to snap

I also thought there would be some link between Ga Eun and mr Kim at the mention of a cake shop going bust, which Kim also talked about as one of his odd jobs. But it wasnt actually brought up
