i think they just need to be clear on the format. it shouldnt be like theyre talking and they play you off without any warning. there should be a time clock (maybe there is?). if you enter the cut-off time (after your time expires) then you might be cut off and you cant complain about it since u knew it. if u are allotted 40 seconds or whatever, and u are part of a group with multiple people who want to talk, then that first person talking needs to be quick to allow time for the next speaker (e.g. the kpop song winners).
it shouldnt be the wild wild west.

crack movie. his other s*** bhhhhaanging, its only three movies in total, dude just cant commit to a project which is unfortunate. hes a book author who kinda stumbled upon directing. but somehow he turns vince vaughn into a mt rushmore actor (not hating vince). its a cliche but the way he shoots violence is sickening, only romero is above him

nah we need the skits.
but yes the presenter bits last night were BAD and wasted too much time. the writers of those bits get an F. but i wont say that presenter bits should go away entirely - with better writing they can be great and memorable and worthwhile

Personally I think they could cut back on some of the skits and give more time to the up and comers and first timers. Imagine you're part of a small team who won and worked for years on a short film, only to have your memory of that moment ruined by the cut off music. For a lot of them this is the only Oscar they'll get.
Might be a hot take...but I think the in-memoriam segment could be trimmed too. Of course, there's legends to be honored, but the segment itself and the speech by Barbara Streisand slowed down the show by a lot (and had terrible audio).

yea the in memoriam at the Oscars stinks compared to the one they did at the Actor Awards. the actor awards segment was straight forward and to the point with good clips/photos of the deceased. the oscars segment does too much with it. do less.
