No real reason to upgrade

The ONLY reason I’m even contemplating copping is cause I sold my OG switch to my roommate cause I was down bad on cash.

Bluetooth is a nice feature but it’s just wack I have to spend more money for it lol

the constant 23-60fps jumping hurts my brain for real, try the demo first

It's been a few days since the OLED Model was announced. I've been s***ting on its value for the most part (because it is indeed questionable if you already have a standard Switch) but now that there's been some time to let it settle, I do appreciate the bigger, better screen and the wide adjustable kickstand.

At times when the TV is occupied, I've resorted to playing in Tabletop mode with my Pro Controller, but the small screen and inability to adjust the kickstand for better viewing angle has made it a bit harder to comfortably play in Tabletop mode without looking like this

I also have the day 1 Switch from March 3, 2017 with significantly worse battery than the v2 and Switch Lite, so whenever I play in Handheld or Tabletop mode, it's only for a short while due to the battery dying after like 2-3 hours. When I consider these factors, I see more value in the OLED Model for me.

I would've still preferred to get a PRO Model of course, but as I've stated a few pages back - I might get the OLED just to treat myself something nice after being loyal to my day 1 Switch since 2017 and let me sister have my old Switch. I know she been wanting to play some Nintendo games so she could have my old Switch at her crib. Basically by treating myself I can also bless my sister at the same time.

I'm mostly leaning towards a no for now though, but when October 8 actually comes alongside Metroid Dead, it's probably going to be harder to resist that treat.

Sorry dude, it doesn't have bluetooth, better and slightly bigger screen, better speakers, better kickstand, LAN port in the dock, 64GB of onboard storage instead of the old 32GB, that's it

Lol I mean all of those things are definitely quality improvements but they could have at least improved the hardware slightly

BOTW is imo (and many others') the best open-world game of all time and a genuine step forward for the genre, Skyward Sword is widely considered a very good Zelda game, but BOTW is next-level in every way

They're too different. Botw is the most "open" open world ever, skyward sword is the most linear of the zelda games. Both are masterclass in terms of gameplay though. Ultimately it comes down to whether you prefer being guided or being free.
I personally prefer BOTW tho

Swedish price for the OLED Model just dropped and it's going to be the equivalent of about 550 USD Not surprised though since the original Switch was around 400-450 (and still is).

Switch OLED is pretty much only really for handheld players who dont have a Switch yet, and collectors
