This should’ve been the original switch that launched.

They usually push out s*** tier hardware but their games are so f***ing good, still this is no excuse for them to hoe their fans constantly
we wanted:
1. Joy-con+ without drift or any controller improvement
2. 4k while docked
3. literally any internal upgrade or dock upgrade
we got:
1. oled
2. Ethernet
3. plain white color way
4. Thiccstand
This should’ve been the original switch that launched.

20 minutes ago i just tried to show a friend Xenoblade 2 on my smaller 43" 4K TV and it looks so blurry, wow
after playing (even some older) games in 4K60 on Series X i just cant go back to that < 30fps < 1080p s*** lol
anything that's true 1080p and 60fps is fine though, MarioKart and Smash run really nice but BOTW's 900p is very choppy and like i also said that < 30fps is pretty rough too
and now we don't know if we will even get 60fps w/ dynamic 4K on a Nintendo console anytime soon...
So I’m playing Mario Golf and I hit the ball all the way to the green but it bounces off the course into the lava on course 4 and instead of putting me where my ball bounced off like it’s supposed to, the game put me from where I shot my ball but right in front of an obstacle unlike before and it screwed me over.
Got a PB on Bowser’s of -5 but could have been so much better without the +7

are these games worth it
always wanted to try them
Been obsessed with the No More Heroes games since the Wii
They’re def aren’t for everyone and they’re kind of niche titles but I def recommend looking up some gameplay to see if it’s the type of game for you

So this is the switch pro?
No from what I read there are no major hardware, graphical updates to this that many ppl speculated that a "Pro" model would have. Hard to say if that Pro model will ever be a thing at this point, or if they will just do something entirely different on the nextgen go round.
So this is the switch pro?
The OLED Model has the same custom Tegra chip as the original Switch. It does not offer any improvements to the performance/graphics/hardware, and thus it does not really fall in line with what many of us expect from a Pro Model.
Based on the Switch revision reports that have been circulating for months now, I believe the OLED model may just be one out of two or several upcoming models. A Pro model with improved performance and graphics capabilities may still arrive at some point in the near future. The OLED model on its own is somewhat redundant since it has the same specifications as the standard Switch.
Nintendo really threw a curveball with this OLED model announcement. My wallet has been waiting for a new, improved Pro model for a while now. I was ready to throw money on a better model, and what does Nintendo do? Announce a redundant model with the same specifications as the standard model I already have (albeit with a few minor tweaks.)
My money was already halfway out of my wallet for a new model, and even though the OLED model doesn’t change much, my wallet is still looking to be used which could potentially lead to me getting the OLED model on a whim just to treat myself, but hopefully I won’t.

So I’m reading this will still not have Bluetooth which is a shame smh. If it had that along OLED I would’ve copped because I mainly play in handheld mode now.
It’s like Nintendo is following a similar marketing strategy as the iPhone. They are making different models and sizes at different price points. I still think there will be a pro model next year. It’s dont see Nintendo going next gen anytime soon, so it’s very realistic that more hardware is coming because it’s just a different version of the Switch. We as game consumers is not used to hardware being released this often.

Yep, still no Bluetooth audio support. That alone would make it at least noteworthy for me. I'm still playing at least 90% in TV mode. If I was playing portably then I wouldn't need Bluetooth audio support since I could just connect a headset straight into the system, but since I am mainly a TV player, there's no way for me to use a headset without buying some third party accessory.
I'm getting some iPhone/Apple vibes from the Switch family of systems as well. I do believe more models are coming down the line.
Its getting harder and harder to resist the temptation of buying this game, this clip right here made me so happy as someone who played the original

I somewhat agree, although if a pro exists i personally dont see it coming out next year if at all

There’s noting wrong with the Apple / iPhone model. I feel like most of the time, Apple is hated on unnecessary
Nintendo has a Switch in every price range. What’s wrong with that? A $200 Switch makes it easier for someone to jump into the Nintendo ecosystem. Nintendo said they want everyone to be able to have their own.
With iPhone, you’re not meant to upgrade yearly. That’s why they do small updates every year. Cus not everyone has an iPhone. So what’s minor to you, is BIG to someone else
I don’t think this OLED model is for us hardcore Nintendo fans. It seems like a small upgrade to get new people to jump on board.
Personally, I don’t think the “Switch Pro” is gonna come until next gen. The “Switch Pro” with up-res 4K will be the next generation Switch. Switch 2 if you will
I’m not mad at the OLED model and neither should any of us

Switch v1: 2017
Switch v2 & Lite: 2019
Switch OLED: 2021
I don’t see the “Pro” coming out until at least 2023 tbh
In italy it only costs 20€ more than base model so i can see this new model being relatively successful

I agree with everything you said. I just wish it had Bluetooth audio. Is that too much to ask for Nintendo?? IS IT?!

You still trying to deny buying SSHD? Like come on we know what’s gonna happen when it comes out
