Nah Sony been doing great. Demon souls remake, Returnal, stellar blade, ff7 rebirth all must cops. Death stranding 2 and Astro bot on the horizon too.

yea i hope so. i could see it being a switch 2 release in the next couple years. but with the reboot flopping (I think it did - not positive of the sales) i could see them not caring about it.

Irrelevant to the point you were making though, this gen has great Sony exclusives, demon souls is the only game out of the 6 that is a remake

Naughty dog and sucker punch released games a few months before the ps5 dropped so it makes sense they don’t have a game out yet this gen

12 exclusives in 4 years is REALLY bad

Especially when most are VR, 3rd party AA games

Nah it’s just a different type of gen because ps4 was powerful enough to release most exclusives cross gen. Switch 2 will be the same, I’m sure for years we’ll see most games dropping on both consoles.

Generational leaps are different now because of how powerful modern consoles are. It’s good for consumers, it’s completely superficial to care that ps5 has less exclusives because of cross-gen releases.

Definitely, consumer wise it’s been great. Most games you can just buy on your PS4. But exclusives sell consoles and are the sole reason to get the next box. I really don’t have a reason to get a PS5

Astrobot is the first game that’s gotten me thinking about getting a PS5.
IMO, we definitely need those lines in the sand of moving on to the next console. Look how games have been suffering with running well on the Switch the last couple years
