is that confirmed?
I’m just assuming
I think Pokemon gen 10 is spring 2027 and Mario is fall 2027. A year and a half away is too soon to announce a new 3D Mario the way Nintendo doesn’t like to announce s*** too far in advance
3D Mario announcement in September at earliest IMO
Bro they are not showing OOT remake AND 3D Mario
Oh they most definitely are
I’m guessing they start with Zelda 40th (OOT remake, TLOZ movie trailer, some goodies maybe a few remasters or NSO ports) and end with 3d Mario
Treehouse for duskbloods, splatoon raiders and maybe starfox?
It better impress
If they don't show me some impressive graphics, good animations, additional features and quality of life improvements then they could've just ported OoT 3DS to the Switch.
Their bread & butter is porting 3DS games to Switch

Except I don’t? I’m always happy with whatever we get, I’m not on here b****ing about how I need Nintendo to show me good games or whatever
Those are just my genuine predictions
Please dont make ocarina of time remake look like the past zelda chibi games …
yeah I want it to be realistic like twilight princess

The remakes that went chibi form were 2d sprites why are you stressing that they'll turn 3d Zelda into that lol
Got a call to pick up my new car from the dealership today
Working from home this week, next week on vacation, going to the seaside to drink cocktails, swim and lounge around in the sun all day
One of the best Nintendo Directs in years coming later today
LIFE IS GOOD
What if it was a New Zelda game instead of a remake wouldnt that be cool
Not really, that would be the shortest development time for a Zelda in ages and means they rushed it
We already know a new Zelda is coming so a teaser for that would be pointless, they should wait until it’s cooked more

Sounds like you’re eating good right now my man. Happy for you
being honest it just looks star fox 64 with a new facelift lol
im somewhat lenient to it cos star fox has like 5 games total and has been dead for god knows how long but i would prefer something new entirely
Fwiw, i don't like straightforward remakes either and wont buy neither star fox nor oot, just pushing back on the lazy remake argument.
I think a ff7 style 2/3 part remake that changes and expands on oot by a new team to help them understand zelda's design and level of quality would've been cooler. At worst you'd get a trilogy of mediocre games that don't replace the original or impact development of the new zeldas, at best you get a great reimagining of a classic that gives a new team some experience to then tackle production of new titles, so to have a steadier flow of zelda titles
If we also get a september direct, which is likely unless they announce quite a few early 2027 titles today, we'd only have to wait a little more than 2 months, so i wouldnt even worry too much about what could be missing here

I wish we didn't live in a world where 3-4 years of dev time was considered rushed lol
Totk had 6 and it still felt a bit undercooked because it just feels they put all their attention into one specific area and neglected most others
I think rather than amount of time spent on developping game studios should focus on using that time better
Not to say its a bad game its a very great game but it barely fixed any of botw problems and even made them worse in some parts not to mention how lazy they got with some of the asset recycling

Duskbloods might have an offline single player mode, for those who were asking

crazy concept to people somehow lol

I just didnt like them at all, i can see them reusing the engine for the third time for another old classic.

yea i think a ff7r kind of remake would be the right way to go about things since those are a reimagining of ff7 with an entirely different gameplay while still paying homage to the original
im not sure how you can do something like that with zelda but i would be more charitable with that idea then just making ocarina of time in 4k with 60 fps and modern controls because DAE NOSTALGIA XD and people that are too lazy to play a 30 year old game
