i used to use fl studio
Why did you switch
i always wanted to learn ableton at first but like i downloaded and was like what the f*** is this.
idk why i decided to go back. i think it had to do with sampling. i watched youtube videos and sampling + sound manipulation workflow looked more appealing.
and my favorite producers use ableton

If u know ur daw don't switch
Daws are pretty much all the same let's be honest
1st Song be more specific about the sound is it the wood block or the phased open hi hat with the delay on it?
2nd song on the snare sounds like there is some automated gate reverb being applied whenever the snare hits. Could be a trigger. Sounds like everything went to tape.
3rd song there is a f*** ton of Stereo Imaging or Widening of some sort. The drums have a tape chorus, flangey thing. Sounds like they were slowed down by maybe a Halftime plugin or something.
Sometimes Remix
that Kn X influence getting to u

Yeah man I'm just so bored of making s*** from scratch in my daw. All of the sounds are so synthetic and dull. Samples are way warmer and raw.
I dont even use an MPC to chop these up I just use the grid lines lmao
Also like I love so many genres of music that Samples allow me to just take from whatever I want, Where as makiing from scratch on my computer I can only make like two genres
used to use this cool site
lodopemine.com
it gives you a song to sample, a drumkit, and a random youtube video that has a tip / tutorial.
