What makes you say it will be your only album?

I've been doing this off and on seriously since a junior in high school round like 2014.
so I'm like 6-7 years deep in this.
my goal is to get at least 5,000 plays on each song off the album I drop.
if I can't at least do that or close 6 - 7 years in
I need to do this as a hobby and try to seriously do comedy or write books.
it's a go hard or go home type of thing
I've tried quitting this before but i think that as of right now Im finally skilled enough to release a project I'm proud of and leave for good.
maybe Ill try it again in a couple of years tho
@Julian I think you sent me your email for some thing in this thread or the audio engineering thread, can’t find what it was about hmu if you remember

duplicated an omnisphere track in ableton and got my ear cavities destroyed by white noise in all my tracks
Didn't crash my computer and still got the beat tho

would u consider dropping each song as a single? you'd probably get the most longevity and impact for each track that way. that's my approach rn.

check this thread out too

, yeah this is how I'm thinking about doing it but I'm still want to drop it as an album. Prolly release up to 5 - 6 songs like singles and then leave 3 for the album .
Im gonna grow my youtube channel for selling beats since my old one got banned a couple of years ago and now im back to producing full time, so i will be posting 5-7 new beats every week. Here is the first one

Rappers better tap in cause im posting all fire
Also down to do sub for sub if anyone here has an active channel
say somebody send me a link to get that congo s*** all detroit producers be using

Yo i interviewed Pyrex Whippa! Hella gems in this for producers but i'd say the best one is the gem he gives at the very last 2 mins of the interview.

I’ve had financial set backs that will not make it possible for me to purchase ableton when the trial is soon up. I’m thinking of switching to serato studio and reason+ which both offer a more affordable monthly subscription. On top that of splice or output’s arcade.
Is that a good plan or I lost heavy?

My suggestion is to rent Studio One 5 from Splice. It costs $16.99 per month. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and it wasn’t too difficult to learn coming from Cubase. And remember, once you rent it for 24 months you keep it.
