Br00sesGreen Lantern Rebirth is a classic
10/10 writing expanding upon older stories and lore. Hal Jordan is very cool. The Green Lantern desperately needed a refresh before this story took place and they killed it. No flaws. 10/10. Batman got punched in the face for being a jerk.
The art is good. Lots of detail. Pretty colors. Style wise I could see someone calling it generic, which is fair, but it looks too pretty for me to care they did such a good job.
10/10 classic perfect sci fi superhero story
i think its only generic because dc in house artists created this aesthetic and it became so sublime and imitated the orignal is viewed as generic

Probably not, though. I find it unlikely they would mirror our morals at all. A very specific set of events occurred to get us where we are. And it’s all social construct.

EchiTwigsWon't be able to discuss much until later at night but I found the story to be rlly confusing at parts
Idk if it was due to not knowing old lore (altho somethings are cause of it such as me not knowing who the guy in prison is) or how the story was told. Cause for the most part I deadass was wondering if Hal was alive or not the whole time and it got more confusing with his "old" body being sealed?? I also don't fully understand who/what exactly Spectre is. It was a bit unclear whether he was a good or evil person inside of Hal. Those confusing things aside I did enjoy seeing the tie in with all the other heroes and found it funny how batman was portrayed as constantly aura farming until the end where Hal smacked him as u said

The last chapter with the fight being concluded was cool.Overall think me being confused half the time reading this took a bit from the enjoyment of it for me but it was still good nonetheless.
spectre being ambigiously good or bad is deliberate even though he is bad. which is clear when green arrow see him blow off the guys hand.
its kinda like how joker teases batman about how by not killing people hes letting more innocent people die and how on the other side of moral things, there is an element of truth to evil decision sometimes, even if it doesnt justify it

NortI like em. Why don’t they just protect the universe themselves though?
becasue every colour corp which represent differnt emotions have equally powerful ancient and immortal creators if im not mistaken. and creating more green lanterns is apart of them doing that. theres jsut very few living things with strong enough will to use the ring
