So u mean all 8 issues right ET?
The volume 1 I have is 153 pages
ok will give my review!
obviously its one of the best arcs in dc universe history. geoff johns the goat.
I always enjoyed the green lantern lore of the different colours being different emotions and how in these literal stories there’s always this emotional metaphor going on in the backround.
I loved that it feels like this snapshot into a huge story you only get a piece of. but it fills you in enough as you go along you undertsand what’s happened.
the infighting and personalities of all the different heroes is always cool to see. batman being wrong, green lanterns being distrustful of hal etc. it really brings the universe to life
also this is one of the superhero stories where you never feel like the superheroes have all this power and can do anything they want with. they still seem like the underdogs going against parallax, spector and even sinestro
also i love sinestro always happy to see him.
I do think art wise, while it was beautiful, the characters of the main green lanterns are drawn so similar sometimes you have to step back and think about which green lanterns is in the drawing and ti pulls me out a bit. Thats a common issue with dc artwork though, not exclusive to this and relatively minor in the grand scheme of things.
overall this is a landmark superhero comic that set up the scene for many great green lantern arcs afterwords
Me and Tuneout will superhero him into submission
He will like so many superhero stories
we will eventually
It's cool that we get non super heroes comics in the mix
it creates good diversity
this is true!

charli xcx alien talk after the rave probably goes crazy

Smh there i go again
What’s your list
Idk
Slick Rick feels like the start of rap to me. I know there’s plenty before him but I think he represents that storytelling basic rap.
Nas / Jay / Em define 90s/00s rap to me, with a note for Biggie and Tupac and how impactful they were.
Ye & Wayne were like the big forces bringing rap into a wider mainstream audience and changing how rap was perceived. Ye also helped in redefining rap / hip hop as a genre.
Drake is the ultimate mainstream, mass appeal version of hip hop / rap building on the genre redefining of Ye.
Now? Carti is a good option for the current transition, I think Juice Wrld, XXX and Peep deserve some credit too.
Idk this one
Grant Morrison run from 2018, read a few isues back in the day but never finished for some reason
just an eye roller filled with grifters selling BS
like who actually gives a f*** if aliens exist
people dont even care about wildlife on earth let alone hypothetical little aliens out in space
I think the concept of aliens is cool because they definitely don’t share the same code of ethics as us, cause that would be unlikely. Like one would probably see nothing wrong with rawdogging you and then biting your head off

he gave us all star superman

I never heard much about it which is weird to me because he's like a very popular writer
I just assumed it was bad based on that

or maybe they have outgrown violence entirely and look at us like we look at crocodiles or bacteria eating eachother
Knowing Joe Rogan podcast eras is a red flag
mid 2010s JRE podcast was really good
just because he sucks now doesn't mean he didn't have classic episodes
i see nothing wrong with that?
camille claims alien talk is the lowest form of convo

or maybe they have outgrown violence entirely and look at us like we look at crocodiles or bacteria eating eachother
