Prezthe infinity saga became so popular because it was genuinely fantastic and something cinema had never seen before (an extended universe of that magnitude). The quality has gone drastically downhill since then.
I think the public would still like good super hero movies but now they have to build it up again which won’t be easy (in fact I don’t think it’ll ever be done as well as infinity saga ever again)
Yeah that’s true about the MCU. Only recent MCU movie that had the quality of the Infinity Saga was Vol 3 and ofc that’s because of James Gunn.
I just think there’s a fatigue from general audiences when it comes to big budgeted CGI fests where the stakes are low because the heroes always win at the end. I see people yearning for smaller movies again that are more grounded and practical. Hell, the Bob Marley biopic beat the big budget Spider-Man spinoff.

The MCU has gotten too big for its b****es for sure. I hate the multiverse because even if like spider man died there’s a million other spider mans just like him. It takes away the sense of meaning
