I think the general public is just kind of done with Superhero movies tbh

Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame felt like the peak and then people just stopped caring as much

Only superhero movies in recent memory that really did good at the box office was GOTG3 (Great movie) and Across The Spider-Verse.

I anticipate Deadpool 3 being a massive success and the first couple movies from DCU being successful from curious folks but otherwise it might be winding down like westerns did.

the infinity saga became so popular because it was genuinely fantastic and something cinema had never seen before (an extended universe of that magnitude). The quality has gone drastically downhill since then.

I think the public would still like good super hero movies but now they have to build it up again which won’t be easy (in fact I don’t think it’ll ever be done as well as infinity saga ever again)

Batman is an anomoly amongst the superhero genre, he the OG hero in the eyes of non comic book fans and people will always tune in for him. I’m talking about everything else.

Even Spider-Man doesn’t have that punch anymore. No Way Home did so well because it was a nostalgia fest for Tobey Stans and Across The Spider-Verse was building off the greatness of the first one.
