In the MCU quest to continue the story after Thanos and the OG six, they’ve introduced the multiverse which is supposed to equal bigger = better, but they dug themselves into a hole because for as many versions of Iron Man we can get, there’s just no emotional stakes anymore.

MCU has also just been dealt with some really bad luck post Endgame as well complicating their plans. Like the Pandemic delaying everything by a year and causing them to release way to much at once with all the series + movies. And Chadwick Boseman dying when he was supposed to be the new leader of the Avengers, and ofc Johnathon Majors being an abusive POS who was being set up to be the big bad of the whole new saga.

Yea plus even if u put aside the multiverse, there’s too many damn super humans in this version of earth.

Maybe Deadpool will reset it but take the fantastic four for example. They go into space and get super powers… I could see that being a cool story. But when u take into account that there are already roughly 200 people on their earth with super powers… it’s like who cares that another group of people got them

I haven’t seen the sequel but the first captain marvel was great. I thought it was super underrated by fanboys (hard to say it’s underrated in general when it did over a billy)
