WESLEYS THEORYI would say right now the album is 75% singing 25% rapping.
That song in particular has a sung hook and rapped verses. Not recorded yet but it’s one of my favorites.
I realized about 3 weeks ago my greatest chance of success with the pendulum swinging away from hip-hop was to blend the genre I love into other genres. So there’s Hip-Hop influence along with Alternative Rock, Pop and Electronica.

The age thing is only a real factor if you make music that’s catered to a young young demographic. Your goal should be aiming for people in their 20’s and 30’s.
And while ageism does exist in the industry, it’s not as widespread as some would believe. All the really big artists now are in their late 20s to late 30s.

Build your own fanbase. Don‘t accept bs contracts from small labels early on in your career. If you manage to get big/clout on your own major labels will knock on your door and maybe try to give you a more benificial deal, offering you to own your masters I‘d still not accept it and rather find an amazing manager like Brent but 21 Savage seems to do aight to with his masters. Most of the time you become a slave for the big 3 anyways tho
