And while ageism does exist in the industry, it’s not as widespread as some would believe. All the really big artists now are in their late 20s to late 30s.

one of my biggest dreams in life is to make atleast one perfect album by my standards. ive thought about it everyday for the past 15 or so years.
Problem is chasing perfection is damn near impossible. Brian Wilson drove himself to insanity trying to craft his “perfect” album.
It’s more important to recognize the energy you’re creating from the sessions and maximize the best qualities of those songs.

Luck is a big factor but it’s also the quality of what you’re making and the biggest one of all…GOOD MARKETING.
Putting yourself out there as much as possible. Carving a niche for yourself. Getting a particular look. Giving people something to latch on to.

I think it’d be practical for me to have an entire demo album finished that I can let marinate and tweak while i get to work on building a proper studio to fully flesh it out.
