    so yes i do this for example if i am doing bench press i start with 45 lbs each side do about 10 reps then add 35 pounds more each side i do about 3x7 which = to 21 reps then on the 4th i do 4 more so i get to that 25 rep max point

    Flew too close to the sun today

    Hit a pr on my dumbbell press and my tricep extensions and i did ONE rep too many and pulled something

    Its subsiding now (i did this at 5 in the morning) but man, gotta remember this s*** a marathon not a sprint

    whenever I gain weight clean/dirty bulk it all goes to my stomach feel like my arms never get bigger (regardless of muscle or fat)

    I stg there’s this guy in like his 50’s I’ve seen at my gym as a regular for like the last 3 years and I s*** you not all he does is death stare girls around the gym for 2 straight hours and leaves and I have never seen him lift a weight or workout even once.

    Like do men really get to a certain age where they just don’t gaf about their public perception anymore? Like he makes it so obvious to everyone what he’s doing and yet he just doesn’t seem to care that he’s giving off that ‘creepy old guy at the gym’ vibe in front of everyone

    Hypertrophy means muscle building basically

    Lot of people look at the gym in two ways. Muscle building or strength training

    They basically work hand in hand but there’s different ways to train based on your goals.

    i am just trying to maintain i cant cut that much because being diabetic T1 it would mean adjusting my insulin like crazy because of the carb to insulin ratio

    strengthen training yeah i can do but there is only so much i can lift imo how i look at it now if i can tone a bit more i am good i am currently at 178 lbs
