Thanks bro. XC really sets you up for life. When I started running again a couple years ago I was still clocking 8 minute miles (on single miles tbf), which while not great, is kinda crazy considering the amount of bullshit I had put into my body between high school and then lol

recently changed my weight loss goal from being a few pounds away to around 15 pounds away and damn it feels like it’s gonna be impossible … but i’ve lost 48.6 pounds thus far on this journey (since covid) so we gonna keep pushing

skipped yesterday morning run cuz my lower legs was seriously feeling it. did lots of foam rolling and stretching and focused on my upper body yesterday instead.
almost b****ed out on running this morning because I had a rough night sleep last night catching and releasing a raccoon at 2am. so I woke up late and tired and was enjoying my coffee and YouTube videos on the porch at 7am when suddenly I said f*** it.
top of my journal this week reads "Behavior before thought, feeling, and emotion" so I hit that One Second Decision and strapped my shoes on and went for a run. same route as last time, but faster. and now because of my behavior, I feel better than I could have otherwise
