Even if you are super genetically gifted like Joaquin Buckley at 5'7 you are at best a welter weight at 170lbs. There is a reason he moved down to welter wight from middle weight. You cant perform optimally at 185 lbs at 5'7

the better answer is relative to things like waist size or like how much you lift relative to your weight. if you can bench over 180/squat over 270 and your waist is a 33 or under, you’re probably good. these are lower thresholds but weight loss is probably the way to go if you aren’t there yet.
more complicated than that but without seeing a pic id say those are good benchmarks
i can bench 180 i usually do 90-95 pound dumb bells i can dead lift 4 plates i can squat 3 plates if that helps with your answer

my weight goes up an down about 5 pounds like between 175-180 but its hard for me to loose weight being diabetic type 1 sometimes you give to much insulin then your blood goes low an you got to eat something or drink to bring it up or

If you are low body fat then yeah you have. If you are 185 at 5'7 with visible abs then you should win a few comps in a couple weeks ;)

If you are new to the gym dont cut. 180 aint fat you be sweet just lift and eat till it gets uncomfortable then cut
