Week two at the gym. Just trying to get the movements down with an adequate amount of weight to make sure I don't injure myself something crazy
200g of protein a day really hits DIFFERENT
body composition literally went from 0-100

Keep going bro. Look up John Meadows (RIP), he has ideal teaching for a beginner all the way to pros. He works through just about every set and rep on his videos and dives deep into the nuances and movements so you get the most out of what you are doing. He was highly respected by just about everyone in the fitness industry. Coached a lot of Mr. Olympia competitors, including winners.
You got this, shout-out to you for starting a fitness journey

I would say 75% of my protein literally comes from lean meats and egg whites
The rest from miscellaneous foods like veggies and protein powder/bars
Grocery bill has gone up but imo it’s worth it. I don’t ever eat out anyway
first true rest day all year

Coincidentally, I came across one of his vids when I was trying to see how I could activate my back muscles more. Going to look into more of his stuff, thanks for the recommendation

I mentioned it before itt, my first month in the gym was spent doing only one set of around 6-8 reps of each of the main compound movements, on my very first day I did one set of 8 squats at around 80 pounds and my legs were jello for 3 days
It certainly helped me hone in on maintaining good form tho when the time came to start a real routine. Very good choice focusing on form at first
Are there any protein powders which are
Dairy free
Gluten free
