Just got back to work from my appt. with my knee Doc. X-rays show my knee fracture completely healed. Doc said the only way I re-injure it is with some kind of accident just like I was in. Told me to push it as hard as I feel comfortable with when working out and to keep banging out PT work.

Soreness indicates nothing other than you haven't worked that muscle group in awhile. You will gradually stop having any soreness except for particularly heavy days or when you skip days. DOMS is particularly bad when you're a true beginner.
Believe in the program you picked and diet. Ignore everything else. The results will show themselves.
