    you do abs often? might be that your abs are weak enough that your hip flexors are taking over.

    could also be that you're not activating your glutes.

    No mate I’ve been playing football (soccer if u like) all my life so I’ve always done some ab-workouts, but not really no. I don’t know wtf I’m doing wrong but it’s always my hips that are working when I do abs lol

    Maybe you just have an issue with your hip

    Never heard of anyone’s hip hurting during abs unless they have bad hips

    Lol ngl I’m well on my way. I’m only doing specifically strength training for 6 weeks or so so I won’t be that big but I don’t do much upper body at all
