hey buy all means the best way to approach a girl in the gym is just see if she is dong a exercise right, on thursday i was doing triceps wit the rope i seen this girl beside me doing face pulls but wrong so i kindly asked what she was doing she did say she was doing them she was spanish so idk if she fully understood me but i was explaining to her how to do them proper so i was showing her but also paying attention to her reaction when i was talking to her she seemed ok with me explaining it did not seem stuck up about it i was then going to introduce myself but i was like ''her bf maybe around and i was right she was cute her bf came up to her like 10 mins later maybe he seen me talk to her point is dont be scared to talk to girls at the gym or approach them

i usually have a tiny bit of pain in my left shoulder when i do dips and it goes away after a handful of reps, but today i had to do dips first cause someone was using the smith machine and i had zero pain at all
just did a warm up set with 10lbs and then went straight to a plate, felt like i could get deeper too. typically they're like my 4th exercise but if this is how they feel to do fresh i might have to move them to another day and do them earlier in the session

dips are good to do on chest day on whenever your adding your tricep day to something 1st of all are you stretching and warming up before any exercise your doing ?
did shoulders today i know i have been going so hard for months already non stop consist heavy lifts it just felt good to do lighter today and i might continue it since i have this knee injury i dont wanna stop working out with because of the injury or take a lot of time off

i do warm up sets for most movements now. typically i'd do a bodyweight set for like 10 reps then add 10lbs and do 8 reps and by then my shoulder would feel fine and i'd move on to working weight. i'd feel a little pain during warmup but nothing concerning. i do bjj as well so sometimes i'm a lil banged up anyway, might've just had a little injury that healed itself over time or something idk
