Yea i didnt realize how big of an achievement it was ngl. My physique aint really where i want it to be yet but my strength seems to progressing quite nicely.
Need to cop some more weights so i can overload properly.
Rn im essentially doing strength/endurance training.
But thats kinda what i mean with changing my mindset. Im more focused on investing in myself so when im old i dont gotta have the same problems my fam has when they pass age 30. The body will come sooner or later but the daily activity is what matters the most to me. 2 years ago if i couldnt induce hypertrophy i just didnt exercise at all smh. And my rest days was just me eating junk food on the couch lmfao

Goddamn i did NOT wanna show up today. And actually showing up and completing my workout made me feel more drained. Even after great sleep and great nutrition.
But i still did it, my body will thank me 20 years from now with this level of consistency even though it feels like its not worth it at the moment

You getting stronger means your physique is changing as well, you are gaining muscle mass. The fact you can overload is proof of that. Maybe you want to get more lean, but dont let a scale drive you crazy.
All the stuff you are listing are really good improvements and things you should be proud of. Keep on grinding and you’ll get there
Someone in the gym noticed to me I could bench way more if I focus a little on my technique. Shoulders more tight and feet closer to my body and pushed to the ground.
Did one set with him pointing out my flaws, because I already did 3 and was getting exhausted. But I noticed a really big difference during the first 5 reps.

True man im getting too wrapped up in physique. My body look lowkey worse but im on a crazy bulk so even though im damn near killing myself wit my workouts it look like im just getting chunky lmfao

that s*** is literally a herculean task for me. I def xant just do that as a regular routine. i can do 30 on a good day and im pretty much at failure by my 25th lmfao. Honestly after yesterday im def cutting it back cause my s*** is f***ed. Goal is to do 1 arm pull up. But still even getting to 20 is pretty hard and alot of stars have to align. No where near ready to progress imo
Its just cool that i can actually do that much on a good day after not even being able to do 1 assisted pull up 2 years ago lol
Also im a pretty small guy, naturally kinda fit anyways. and worked manual labor jobs my whole life even while training with my personal trainer. So my strength has been pretty good for someone my size even b4 really training.
I gotta get on a cut to see my muscles but rn im pretty soft and squishy
but im tryna get pretty massive before i lean out again.
That being said, i cant do s*** today lol, overtrained and only got 4 hours of sleep, imma do some yoga before bed today and call it a wrap

Was gonna say you probably don’t weigh a lot which makes pull ups easier do you do wide grip or neutral
