Ya that’s a tough one
It’s just going to be will power. Usually you can just say don’t bring it in the house but can’t stop them. Find a brand of protein bars you like as a substitute. I love the quest hero bars
Got so many compliments the last few weeks on the physique and progress of the cut
Me:
That s***’ll call actual athletes with low body fat obese just cause they have a lotta muscle that s*** so inaccurate.

I’m 192 my goal is 180 but I don’t want to lose any muscle
If I go under 190 I haven’t been that in a decade

trying RP App and I dont understand how this thing works. do I really need EIGHT sets of pulldowns to get tired? why's it throwing so many sets at me, I cant stay at the gym for 1.5 hours like that

I’m not sure how it calculates ur plan but in general you need to choose reps and sets that maximize your load and tension without form breakdown
Eight sets sounds like a lot I wouldn’t do more than 6 sets of any exercise personally unless I was feeling it in the moment
I would aim for 4-6 sets of an isolation exercise in 7-15 rep range (4-8 reps if doing heavy compound exercises). And u pick the weight by picking a weight u can barely finish ur sets with. If you can easily do more than ur set/rep goal then u need to increase weight and if you can’t get close to ur set/rep goal u need to decrease weight
Mostly anything can work but u need to stick to a similar plan otherwise u can’t actually tell if ur making progress
I’m addicted to bicep curls haha
Goated exercise I don’t get how ppl don’t train arms like that

my guessing (and I just googled and confirmed it) is that it responds to my feedback of not being sore after most of my workouts. and its true, I dont feel much of anything on most of my s*** even when I do really heavy weights. I feel it in the process and maybe I feel exhausted in general, but nothing ever hurts as it 'should be' hurting
so the app tries to wear me out by giving me a ton of reps and honestly last week I did like 7 sets of raises and it actually did make me feel something and I really was sore in areas im usually not. but ten sets is an overkill for sure. might as well do 20 reps per set like f*** it

everything you said is good understanding btw I dont disagree with it. six is actually too much, personally I dont ever do more or less than four

If ur growing and not getting sore that’s perfectly fine but if ur not getting sore and u don’t think ur making progress u probably aren’t pushing close enough to failure
