Don’t get what you’re laughing at tbh have fun curling 15 pounds for 30 reps bro
At end of the day having good form is just as important, I can’t suddenly go “heavy as f***” not doing the forms properly
Ever been to the gym with a cold?
Yes and it lowkey sucks, I get fatigued very fast. On those days you just gotta take it easy
That s*** expensive
It’s just rolled oats and milk for the base. You can make it yourself for super cheap
Ever been to the gym with a cold?
Jumped off the treadmill and almost fainted that day

Lol about 3 weeks ago I was coming down with mono and didn’t realize. Went to the gym twice and felt like complete s*** after
For sure. Gonna buy some in the morning. Along with fruits, honey and cinnamon
Im not sure if you can buy overnight oats pre made but don’t do that lol. Just buy rolled oats and whatever kind of milk you like. Before you go to bed just put the oats, milk, and whatever else you wanna add in a jar and throw it in the fridge
Any tips on hitting a new pr? Ive been tryna bench 265 for the past month or 2 but i just cant get it back up
I can bench 255x1 on flat with no problem and do 205x3 on incline

technique is more important than the weight you lift too.

Dont worry bout weight until you got form down. Never be that dude using his whole body because he wanted to look stronger

Anyone here do weighted chins/dips?
How long did it take you start adding weight? I can chin-up 5x5 at the moment with strong form. Should I be waiting until that becomes a breeze before looking to add weight?
not the most qualified to answer this cuz i just started doing dips n chins last month.. never did bodyweight stuff before that. but imo, the earlier the better. for me i started adding weight just 2 weeks in by shoving a 8 lb dumbbell into my hoodie pocket. not heavy at all but at least it was something. n i was pretty weak at the movements without weight. for reference i did 5x5 chin ups the first week and could only complete 4 sets, 5th i could only do 3-4. with 8 lbs i could do like 3 sets then finished off without weight.
but you could always try actual programs/methods to better your chins or dips like greasing the groove or sumn.

Whey or other protein supplements if you can’t meet your goals through diet
Creatine if you really want
Other than that they’re a waste of money

It’s about progressive overload you have to compromise form to go heavy at a certain point.

Thanks. I’ve heard they’re kind of a waste. Good to know from a second source

Damn I just did this today. Felt like absolute s*** and took it light. Not 100% recovered so I’ll probably take the rest of the week off

creatines not as important as protein (at least to me). it just increases the amount of water that your cells can retain, therefore increasing the size of your cells which then can increase the size of your muscles
i haven't really noticed too many differences since i started seriously taking it, except when i front loaded it I got bloated as f***

Protein isnt gonna do s*** if you’re not working out. And even when you are it’s better to get it from food than from shakes
