i had a very bad experience doing leg curls once i had the worst Charlie horse ever
dam you can get that s*** during a workout? I only get it during sleep when its cold
anyone on 5day splits? is ULPPL the optimal way to go?
I would do PPLUL so that you are getting your strongest lifts on specific body parts day 1-3 and on your upper and lower on days 4-5 you can focus on other types of workouts, like maybe something conditioning based.
I’m on a 6 day split personally PPLPPL and I do different workouts that focus on movement for my 2nd PPL

i'm going to get on an UL split for the first time ever so I have some trouble setting up the right volume.
two exercises each for chest&back and one each for shoulders-biceps-triceps seems to be the most common way but I'm still quite unsure. also having a dilemma on whether my chest exercises should be flat & incline presses or one press variation and a fly

You gotta remember you also are going to have dedicated days to those body parts, so don’t feel like you’re missing out on something. Just settle on a press and fly variation on your UL split days, that way at least you get your chest activated from different angles.
Keep those days simple in my opinion, even use them as opportunities to maybe even work on proper form where you might even get more gassed
If you got any more questions, always willing to help bro.

the best split is the one that you do consistently
Going to take a DEXA scan on Sunday
I’ve lost a bit of muscle and strength over this cut. Might need to raise the protein levels for these last stages
Depending on the amount of running it could also be smart to up your carbs
Yeah it’s a tough balance trying to do everything right now. Need to cut the calories to keep losing weight/fat, need to keep the protein high to maintain muscle/strength, and need the carbs to sustain training.
Saturdays are my long distance run day so I raise carbs on that day. The middle of the week runs I’m fine on reduced carbs though

Couldn’t hop on the pec deck cuz two kids did like 20 sets each on them and then a 70 year old man did 40 sets himself 👍🏼 gotta love people that hog up machines like they’re the only ones there 😌😌😌

Been real consistent with gym (3x a week minimum), 10k+ steps a day and bike ride 1-2 times a week, and proper warm up for everything and I've never felt healthier.
