my cat is real close to dying, we just doin palliative care for her cancer. went to get a new pain medication from a compounding pharmacy and they said it would be 2 days I said aight. got back home and my wife was like "why didnt you call me!?!? i could have called other places to see if they could do it faster!!" and i just completely lost my cool and said i'll go back and get the prescription!!! but i forgot my keys so im goin back inside and violently open the front door and hurt my hand pressing into the handle like a dumbass. i felt a pop/crack. now its 12hrs later and it aint rly gettin better (or worse at least)
im not usually like that, its just a tough time rn i really love my cat so much and my wife aint been as supporting as she could be (she said that this mornin) but we just keep it pushin. i aint gonna beat myself up over it, just gotta learn from it and i can still do a lot of training so yea. just feel real foolish
and like 1min later the pharmacy calls me and i tell them we're gonna take the script somewhere else that can get it done in one day and theyre like "no, we will have it ready tomorrow" so it was like all for nothing in the end lmfaoooo. foolish..

So about two years ago when I was working out my Apple Watch died on me and I didn’t charge it until hours later. When I finally turned it back on the watch had been recording the “workout” the entire time and said that I had worked out 8 hours that day for a new record. I tried to delete the workout and everything but it’s impossible to remove that “record”. So for two plus years I’ve had this fake record in my s*** that can’t be deleted because apples f***ing stupid sometimes and it’s not possible. But after this trip, I plan on having a new REAL record for most workout hours in a day

There’s a few benefits with the fitness tracking and I’ve found more benefits over the years. Originally it was just nice to just have a step counter with the watch to help track calories burned for the day. I also use a powerlifting program that has an app that’s open on the watch during the workout and will tell me how much weights on each set and has a timer for rest between sets that’s super convenient. And now that I’ve started running it’s perfect for tracking distance and time, but I’ve also started level 2 HR training which is low intensity and allows me to make sure I’m in the proper heart rate zone.
It’s definitely a luxury but it makes everything so much easier for tracking/optimizing.
