Facts, why would they do this I feel like teenage romance and feelings of angst played a major role in Avatar and Korra's main characters and why viewers liked them so much. What can they do with a little 8 year old (I'm guessing?) girl

Watching the movie atm and the animation is 10/10 0 complaints. The writing though… it’s just hammy and doesn’t respect the viewer or fans of the franchise at all. The story ain’t really consistent with the established lore either… Buddy made all them air benders, and they instantly learned to airbend good enough to augment and enhance their fighting styles and skills they already had? what are we doing here?

Why even have established lore of a genocide to start the series, if you can’t even explicitly say “The Fire Nation killed the Air Nomads”

Absolutely stunning animation. Setting a new standard.

It was a solid movie but one thing i wished they did was go into more depth about the Denied group. Also Sokka seems a bit more immature as an adult than as a teen.

As as for Toph, yeah I can see how Lin and Su have two different daddies from her attitude here around attractive men lol. But her metalbending was absolute fire.

But Tagah, he makes airbending look like the most powerful element of all bendings with the way he does it. Its a shame his mind was twisted tho.
